    I have been a fan of Katy for over 10 years and I can assure you this album is everything I was waiting for. It's a shame she keeps getting bad reviews when she's one of the biggest pop artists of our times and she just delivered a pop perfection. An album without any bad songs. It was written from the bottom of her heart, it is authentic and is about real personal growth. LET'S STREAM SMILE

    Katy Perry’s Smile is a pure masterpiece. It is truly a pop experience and it’s very difficult to dislike any of the songs on it. Most of the songs are upbeat and the album radiates club energy, it is similar to Prism. It gives off 80s vibes at some points and the production is just all around phenomenal. You can really see her growth as an artist vocally and lyrically. 10/10 she’s outdoneKaty Perry’s Smile is a pure masterpiece.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
