    In my opinion, this is one of her best albums. Each song has a meaning which is linked with the next one. All the songs have demostrated who the queen of pop is!

    I am completely in love with this album. There ia no skip song to me and love how every song has a meaning to it. Best album of 2020 so far.

    Omg!! Katy's best album ever. Never Really Over Is the album's best track and Smile Is too. I Love so much this album and Katy Perry deserves album of the year.

    i love the fact how she subtly mixed all the elements of her past albums to create this one.
    i did not really expect much from the album but when i heard cry about it later and not the end of the world i just went like "WOAH!?" i turns out katy sucks at choosing the singles because those two songs just blew my head off like seriously the song NOT THE END OF THE WORLD is like her song    i love the fact how she subtly mixed all the elements of her past albums to create this one.
    i did not really expect much from the album but when i heard cry about it later and not the end of the world i just went like "WOAH!?" i turns out katy sucks at choosing the singles because those two songs just blew my head off like seriously the song NOT THE END OF THE WORLD is like her song firework the message is the same but the beat dropped hard like the song black widow which she also wrote and it is just amazing, and cry about it later sends a very powerful message about letting go and moving on that just get me.    … Expand

    A fun album a return to form of Teenage Dream in terms of sound with nice and polished production of Witness. The album is quite digestible for a normal listener who isn’t too familiar with Katy’s music.

    First time I listen to a Katy perry full album! GURL! this is a skipless album, all songs are single materials, great production, and high lyrics quality which is very rare these days, they can be marketing hits if well managed. I think I am a fan of her now lol which I couldn't even imagine years ago.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
