    Amazing album from start to finish with no skips and featuring many BOPS. Katy Perry is back in full force on Smile, as it's her most personal album to date. She takes us through the highs and lows of her Witness Era and what brought her smile back. Standout tracks on the album are: Not The End of The World, Teary Eyed, Cry About It Later, Tucked, Champagne Problems and Only Love alongAmazing album from start to finish with no skips and featuring many BOPS. Katy Perry is back in full force on Smile, as it's her most personal album to date. She takes us through the highs and lows of her Witness Era and what brought her smile back. Standout tracks on the album are: Not The End of The World, Teary Eyed, Cry About It Later, Tucked, Champagne Problems and Only Love along with favorites Never Really Over, Smile & Harley's In Hawaii. A solid effort that can literally go toe to toe with Perry's previous works Teenage Dream & Prism. If you don't like Smile then something is obviously wrong with you and you have no taste whatsoever. That's the facts and stop hating on Katy, whatever the hell did she do to you. This is hands down one of the best album's of 2020. Honestly, I hope the album gets a nomination at the 2021 Grammy's for Best Pop Vocal Performance.… Expand

    Each track is special in its own way. The vocals are perfection. Katy has proven again that she is capable of releasing an album full of hits including not the end of the world and teary eyes. Instead of comparing her to other artists, just enjoy the damn album

    the way she is still a woman with power is amazing, people don't give recognition to women just by ignoring them, without first hearing the music, Kate's new album is refreshing, something new and cool, final grade: 8,6

    It’s even worse than Witness. The only songs that I remember from listening to it is Never Really Over and Harleys in Hawaii which were singles but the other singles I can’t even remember what they sound like. Very disappointed in her

    I wonder if the critics listened to the same album as me, because SMILE doesn't deserve all these negative critic reviews and ratings at all. It's a really cohesive album, maybe the only one from Katy. There's no skip for me, no song I disliked, I enjoyed all the tracks. It was a really good ride. Vocals are on point, lyrics are great and inspiring, melodies are amazing. This album is aI wonder if the critics listened to the same album as me, because SMILE doesn't deserve all these negative critic reviews and ratings at all. Vocals are on point, lyrics are great and inspiring, melodies are amazing. This album is a mix between Witness (more mature) and her past projects (more sweet-pop) and it works really well.
    The title was right, I smiled listening to this new project, I also cried of joy. I'm so happy for Katy, now she's in peace with herself and she's doing what she likes, no matter what people are saying. What she says in "Only Love" is beautiful and so true : "Let me leave this world with the hate behind me, and take the love instead."

    Seriously, give this album a chance, don't read what critics are saying, SMILE doesn't deserve to be underrated like that. This is one of Katy's best albums so far, and one of the best albums this year for sure.    … Expand

    Un álbum con sonidos realmente frescos y alegres. Es perfecto al iniciar con el hit producido por Zedd "Never Really Over", este comienzo te da una energía positiva. Katy nos da a entender que la llegada de su hija es un gran motivo de su sonrisa con "What Makes A Woman".

    O tanto que a Katy Perry serviu nesse álbum... Descreveu tudo o que estava sentindo esses últimos anos e foi perspicaz. A crítica sempre vai esculachar a Katy independente se ela servir ou não porque eles têm raiva dela. Smile é um álbum impecável e com toda certeza vai me trazer mais felicidade no meu dia a dia

    A Katy entregou a sua alma nesse álbum, cada verso tem um sentimento tão especial na sua vida que nos faz sentir tudo que ela passou nos últimos 3 anos. Ela venceu, venceu e entregou um material com muita qualidade e que vai fazer com os ouvintes se identifiquem com cada emoção posta ali.     So basically the issue that I have with this album is the lack of maturity in the production and lack of maturity. However, I do not know if this was intentional or not. However, despite this, I can see and respect this album for the emotional importance it has for Katie. It serves as a story for her emotions and a place to put all of her emotional issues which I appreciated.     This album is cohesive and is a ray of hope and sunshine in these dark times. Not the end of the world is my favorite from the album.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
