    Feels so good to hear this new album.

    Estoy llorando, literalmente el maldito álbum del año, como lo dice su nombre, te hace sonreír, te hace bailar, te hace sanar, jamas pensé llorar por culpa de un disco, espero ansioso mis copias en físico. PD: NTEOTW y CAIL tienen que ser singles, se tenia que decir y se dijo.

    Álbum Incrível, cumpre o que promete. Diferente de outros álbuns feitos apenas pra charts, é perceptível que Katy Perry deu tudo de si pra entregar músicas com significado e qualidade impecável.

    I was not expecting to like the album this much. The critics are way too harsh and sexist. Katy worked really hard on this album. Not The End Of The World, Never Really Over, Cry About It Later, & Teary Eyes are pop perfection

    She renewed herself once again! Smile is the album of the year for sure! She tells her struggles and put a light at the end of each song, upfilting pure pop : every song is a masterpiece!
    She tells the struggles she's been through and her journey to find her smile back, at the end : we Smile with her!
    A very needed album in these troubled times.

Although not a Teenage Dream, it is just as good, it just deserves the opportunity to show its value. As it was in 2010, when the same "critics" massacred TD, and today they acclaim and use it for comparison, don't jump to conclusions. Just enjoy the album, which looks amazing. Katy Perry dealt with themes already known, but with her special and unique touch, being based on her life experiences since 2017 with her "fall" until today, recovered and with her daughter, Daddy Dove Bloom.     Every song has meticulously Chosen and crafted to represent a certain point in the emotional journey that is recovering from depression and taming the voices in your head. Katy Perry proves and shows the world that She has grown not only as a woman but as an Artist.

    That's the best Katy's album. It shows some maturing sound and lyric which isn't present in other albums of her. It's more cohesive than witness and teenage dream, and in some parts it brings back the memory of "one of the boys".

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
