    Just more same-sounding generic pop. KP literally has two songs she sings, and she sings them over and over again, nicely but indistinguishably.

    "Smile" is the best album by Katy Perry since Teenage Dream (2010). Yours songs is fun, beautiful and power.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. the album was very good, there was a balance between sad and happy songs, it had a nice mixtures of lyrics, meaningful and fun lyrics to make us feel happy, vocally the album was very good especially with daisies ( both studio and acoustic versions). Harley's in hawaii had a very chill vibe to it and i wished it was om the radio because it would have a made a great summer chilling vibe, cry about it later and not the end of the world are both very good songs. idk how to explain music but i absolutely adore the album. just because there are bad reviews doesnt mean its not good, people didnt bother giving the album a chance to shine.… Expand

    É um dos melhores trabalhos da Katy, é maduro, é sincero, é divertido, e trata de sentimentos e experiências tão pesados de uma forma tão leve.
    As letras são lindas, tocantes, profundas. Eu me identifiquei muito, cheguei a chorar lendo cada uma, pq eu também ando passando poucas e boas. Obrigado Katy por nos mostrar que ainda há esperança, que um sorriso pode salvar vidas ❤

    Dancing to the Smile
    Better than Prism, I would give an easy 8/10 note, during the whole album only 2 songs don't fit much, with everything like other tracks it has a very well structured passage, it is cohesive and brings a much more mature and reflective Katy, she tries to show that she has gone through ruined moments and that now she can breathe because she has done her best.
    At the    Dancing to the Smile
    Better than Prism, I would give an easy 8/10 note, during the whole album only 2 songs don't fit much, with everything like other tracks it has a very well structured passage, it is cohesive and brings a much more mature and reflective Katy, she tries to show that she has gone through ruined moments and that now she can breathe because she has done her best.
    At the present moment it is all that we need to hear and that we are living. The album brings the 80's and 90's sounds like on the track Cry About Later and Champgne Problems (the guitar resembles the band Pink Floyd), Tucked (remembers a Europop, Kyle Minougue style), but I would say the pop's highlight is to rescue all this "old" influence in a subtle way, that is, it is an album almost on the same level as the teen dream, as songs will not grow old as they are nostalgic and timeless. It builds something solid and beautiful with sonoridases of not so relevant songs from Teenage Dream and One Of the Boys, leaving only to be desired in the Smile track that could easily be replaced by the bonus track High On Your Supply and Not the end of the world that runs away a little bit of the Album's sound context.

    critics are not enjoying the new Perry era so much. the album is not one of the best, but yes, it has good songs that you can listen to randomly on a trip. Lets stream !!!

    Half of the album is filled with fillers. Might not be her best work. Never really over and cry about it later saved the album

    El fin de Katy Perry. Sonidos más de lo mismo, no se atreve a hacer cosas nuevas, a reinventarse. Pensé que me iba a producir una sonrisa por el título del álbum pero no, fue todo lo contrario. Espero algo mejor para la próxima.

    Definitivamente no es su mejor álbum, pero si es un álbum más maduro, el sonido es una mezcla de Teenage dream y prism, pero dejando un poco más a desear.

    Eu fico muito feliz em ver o quanto katy amadureceu, e também decepcionado pelo tanto de pessoas que não puderam apreciar esse álbum incrível, as musicas são incríveis e dançantes, a estética é impecável, obrigada por tudo katy, agora estou sorrindo

    SMILE tiene sonidos bastante interesantes, hace una mezcla de Teenage Dream y un nuevo rumbo. Me siento emocionado con los bajos que contrapone en Cry About It later. Es una excelente artista y merece un mejor reconocimiento.

    Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
