    Puede que no sea un experto en la música, en los distintos géneros que existen y en como un disco influye en la música, lo que sí me ha quedado claro es que Katy Perry con este nuevo disco, definitivamente no está jugando y nos está mostrando que a pesar de mostrar una sonrisa puede que no estemos en nuestro mejor momento pero la podemos recuperar con el paso del tiempo y reflexionando unPuede que no sea un experto en la música, en los distintos géneros que existen y en como un disco influye en la música, lo que sí me ha quedado claro es que Katy Perry con este nuevo disco, definitivamente no está jugando y nos está mostrando que a pesar de mostrar una sonrisa puede que no estemos en nuestro mejor momento pero la podemos recuperar con el paso del tiempo y reflexionando un tiempo bastante largo, y con este disco nos viene a ayudar de la.mejor manera, todo un nop magnífico, es pop puro y vale toda la pena escucharlo, espero mi crítica baste para que se animen a escucharlos ya que con toda seguridad los hará sonreír.… Expand

    Idk about others, but for me this isnt a very simillar album to the others she made. Maybe the singles can be the "old katy" of prism and teenage dream but the non-singles are very catchy and different to the other musical works she made!

Os "críticos" sempre cobraram uma mudança na sonoridade dela, e quando trouxe algo diferente em 2017 com o "Witness", foi massacrada da mesma forma. É um loop infinito de ódio. Comparam a carreira dela atualmente com os grandes sucessos do passado, como se issoUm álbum ótimo.     Me gustaría decir que es algo novedoso o al menos decente, pero para nada es así, sigue la misma línea que todos sus trabajos anteriores, muy feliz, positiva y cae en lo cliché, solo una o dos canciones son realmente buenas pero lamentablemente no son memorables.

Because those negative comments are from the same people that wanted Katy Perry to experiment with her sound, and when she did that with ‘Witness’ she got the same negativity. Go listen to the full album with a clear mind, relax and listen to what Katy has to say. Her Lyrics are very deep and may reflect on your personal life. It’s a very hopeful album, and I think this something we all can relate on during these challenging times. I appreciate Katy for going back to her pop/trap roots and give us a ‘Dark Horse’ 2.0 with ‘Not The End Of The World’. This is something I wanted from Katy music wise for a very long time. If u loved ‘Roulette’ from ‘Witness’ u definitely want to check out ‘Cry About It Later’ and ‘Teary Eyes’. Again I feel with this album Katy created not only pop perfection but every song has it’s own story. Not alot of chart topping songs these days can relate to that.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
