I really appreciate how positive the songs are even though the situation today aren't, despite being optimistic- Katy has managed to create a more down-to-earth approach to the tracks, with an album title 'Smile' and its aesthetic of "Sad Clown" which perfectly encompasses the idea of sarcasm in Katy'sBest katy perry I've ever listened so far, might be even better than teenage dream!     Esse é aquele álbum para se fechar os olhos e ouvir no último volume, Perry entregou tudo o que disse e um pouco mais. Ela não conseguiu somente seu sorriso de volta, mas encontrou a luz. De longe um dos melhores (se não), o melhor álbum do ano.

    This is the most honest, dancing, and gorgeous album. Katy finally got her SMILE back, and she's doing just great! Might be my new fav album of her. It has all those things that i loved, when i listened "After Laughter", from Paramore. The lyrics are deep, but the beat make you wanna dance.

    Really deep lyrics for those who ever been thru that. I'm a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and I can relate with almost every song and also with the production. I dont know is Kety is a HSP, but this album is a journey that we HSP used to live in our inside world. Thank you so much Katy.

"One of the Boys" veio discreto, mas chamou a atenção da rainha do pop, Madonna com a música "Ur So Gay". O grande bum do público foi com o aclamado "Teenage Dream" simplesmente memorável com seu mundo doce e lindos sonhos adolescentes. "Prism" é um álbum mais maduro com singles como "Roar", "Unconditionally", "Birthday" e "Dark Horse".. sempre com a videografia impecável. Witness injustiçado pela crítica especializada e grande parte dos fãs, afinal, Katy Perry flertou com a atual situação política do seu país e mostrou q não apenas um rostinho bonito com suas músicas dançantes e merece muito reconhecimento mas vocês não estão prontos para essa conversa.     Es un álbum realmente fabuloso, Katy Perry marca una diferencia enorme al entregar un álbum tan personal, sin duda todas las canciones narran un fragmento de vida y superación de las adversidades, no pudo haber llegado un álbum tan maravilloso en mejor momento.

    Katy Perry consegue contar toda uma história com apenas 37 minutos de álbum. Desde a sua recuperação em “Never Really Over” até a última frase do álbum “there it is, Katheryn”, todas as músicas, apesar de não serem originais sonoramente, possuem sua própria identidade ainda que faça alusão a outros álbuns e hits da cantora, tendo como exemplo “Not the End of the World” a qual seria a novaKaty Perry consegue contar toda uma história com apenas 37 minutos de álbum.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    While Perry finds the occasional moment of quality here (Smile and Tucked both feel like the best possible music we could get from Katy Perry in 2020), Smile is an album searching for an identity—and when it fails, it falls back on lazy writing.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
