    her most cohesive album to date. i am very satisfied and happh with how much i love this album considering i was so disappointed with Witness (that one is far from cohesive and had so many filler tracks). personally, sonically this album reminds me to Loud by Rihanna and is just as organized as thank u, next by Ariana so if u like both aspects from both albums, i don’t see any reason for uher most cohesive album to date. i am very satisfied and happh with how much i love this album considering i was so disappointed with Witness (that one is far from cohesive and had so many filler tracks). personally, sonically this album reminds me to Loud by Rihanna and is just as organized as thank u, next by Ariana so if u like both aspects from both albums, i don’t see any reason for u to dislike this album.… Expand

    Terrible from start to the end. Just bored and sounds like if it never ended the first song. It's sad to see the decay of a pop star but there's no more that Katy could give us.

    Let's be honest, it's not her best album, but it's a really great concept, for me the album is cute, it's about Smiling after the problems and downfalls in life, my only problem is that's a little bit repetitive and short, songs like What Makes A Woman deserves better, it's one of the greatest songs in the album and it's too short

    Un gran regreso de Katy Perry amo Never really over fue una gran introducción, Cry About It Later una gran canción desde que inicia su ritmo hace que bailes y rias a como Katy dijo al principio, Resilient es una gran canción que inspira y transmite con su gran letra sin mencionar Only Love es genial. En pocas palabras lo amo desde que inicia hasta que termina.

    Smile is a perfect Katy Perry Album. The Disco genre is pretty famous at the moment and we couldnt expect less than she giving it her magic touch on her brand new album! It just amazes me how good she is on making bops. She done EVERYTHING she promised. Im not disapointed at all. Im actually surprised.

    Katy perry brought an even greater maturity to this album than she had already presented on her previous album, the witness. Unlike what was presented by critics, Smile's songs are not at all dated and forgettable, they are actually a full plate for those who appreciate good music.

The album has a good concept, some great songs that are really worth listening to a thousand times and of course it is perfect, unlike Wittness it does not bring much more catchy songs that are not easy to forget.     Without fleeting moments of bad taste, Perry does indeed sound mature, but she's also not quite as fun. That's a conscious choice, though. Smile is intended to evoke memories of her frivolous younger days while pointing toward a sustainable pop future.

    Like Joanne before Chromatica, Smile plays like a necessary centering exercise, indulging her insecurities and less surefire instincts. If Witness was overdetermined, Smile is an earnest exhale, for better or for worse. It delivers an image of her journey towards inner peace that is honest (if corny) and catchy (if not exactly inventive).
