    'Rare' is definitely Selena Gomez's best album so far. She let us into her world, shared her feelings and all the hard things she went through for four years apart from music. It's a mature, overcoming album that shows up Selena as the strong and powerful woman that she is.

    Selena durante cuatro años estuvo ausente en las redes, pero trabajando en este álbum. Todo este álbum habla de todos los objetivos que le presento la vida y como pudo superarlos. Desde la primera canción; “Rare” hasta la última, “ A Sweeter Place”, puedes conectar con lo está tratando de demostrar y de cierta manera empatizar con ella y lo que dejó atrás.     Literally an album full of bops! It’s insane to see Selena's growth as a person and as an artist through this album. Definitely her most personal album which connects to everyone who is listening to it. There are a few songs that aren’t that remarkable but most of them have great potential. If you are wondering if you should or not listen to it, then you surely should listen.

    With exception of "Vulnerable" (that seems to be a "revival" song but way more well developed), everything seems new and fun.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
