    Give her the Album of the Year GRAMMY right now. Production is phenomenal. Clear outliers and best tracks on the album are Vulnerable, Cut You Off, Dance Again, and People You Know. The guitar rift in the middle of Cut You Off is one of the best things my ears have ever felt.

    O álbum não possui nada de novo, isso é um FATO. Rare, que possui mais compositores que "We are you world" - Michael Jackson, não se desenvolve como o prometido. Os singles 'Lose you to love me' e 'Look at her now' fazem sim certo sentido ao que ela quer dizer, mas o resto das faixas são COMPLETAMENTE SEM NEXOS E DESCARTÁVEIS e que não mostram o 'amor próprio' dito pelos singles. KindaO álbum não possui nada de novo, isso é um FATO. Rare, que possui mais compositores que "We are you world" - Michael Jackson, não se desenvolve como o prometido. Os singles 'Lose you to love me' e 'Look at her now' fazem sim certo sentido ao que ela quer dizer, mas o resto das faixas são COMPLETAMENTE SEM NEXOS E DESCARTÁVEIS e que não mostram o 'amor próprio' dito pelos singles. Kinda Crazy, por exemplo, é ÓTIMA se fosse pra 'Romance' ou 'Lover' e não para um álbum de auto-aceitação. Tirando isso também temos uma participação da Bebe Rexha em 'Vulnerable', mostrando que nem a própria cantora tem a segurança de elevar a música (que de certo, nem chegam perto da originalidade e são bem sonolentas).
    Outro contexto que não favoreceu é que não é COESO na sequência de faixas. Qual é o nexo de botar 1, 2 músicas sobre auto-aceitação pra depois ter 9, 11 músicas para relembrar que ainda sente falta do cara que ela tanto fala? NENHUMA.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
