    A pop perfection by Gomez. This album is pop gold, and Gomez's breathy vocals adds a soothing texture to every song. Taylor Swift' 1989 has officially found it's successor and it's 'Rare ' A cohesive masterpiece. Gomez just keeps amazing us with every album.

    Selena used this album to heal, find herself as an artist and a person, move forward and love herself. Rare is cohesive, beautifully written and sung and worth the 4 year wait. By far her best album and the most Selena release she has.

    Every song on Selena Gomez’s new Rare album is phenomenally produced, lyrically in tune and honestly breath taking. She really did THAT. The way she sings with vulnerability and pours her whole entire heart into her music is beautiful and very intriguing in many different ways. This is hands down one of the best female pop albums created in the last 10 years.

    The album is definitely a 10 for what it is: a pop album. People might find themselves disappointed because they expect an R&B kind of album, but this is not what it its. This is a solid, un-generic, cohesive and consistent pop album.

    Honestly, one of the WORST pop albums I've heard in a long time. It has horrible lyrics, the production screams cheap + boring. I was expecting something much better considering LYTLM is a good song but damn... This was such a throwaway album. All skips except LYTLM, I wouldn't recommend anyone to listen to it.

    Love every single song! As soon as you hear rare you fall in love with it. I am a casual listener of Selena but after this I wanna listen to her whole discography! Rare (s) was my fave but now I'm struggling to choose between all the songs!

    You might like Selena, you might not. But we can't deny how much she has grown these past few years. Not only did she co-wrote every song from the album but she also executed each one beautifully. Props to the editors too, amazing job.

    One of the most beautiful cohesive albums I ever heard! The tracks makes you feel special about yourself and tell you that in order to be happy you should go through pain, her features Kid Cudi and 6lack get her sound out of comfort zone and experiment her abilities in a popish rnb. This album is such an experience and “rare” as Selena get new freshly music and melodies, 70-ish pop album.

    It's the best album of Selena Gomez's career, you just can't choose favorite songs, even Taylor Swift mentioned it. Selena's best job so far and I hope not the last. Very good rhythm, very good lyrics, each of the songs have a personal touch executed with certain metaphors and doing it in a non-literal way.

Even Mariah Carey, an artist that’s 30 years into her career released a better album in 2018 with Caution. thank u, next by pop princess Ariana Grande is much better than this generic sad excuse of an album.     While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
