    Selena Gomez released an honest and a heartfelt record that feels honest and raw. Tracks like Dance Again and Vulnerable are bangers, feeling like they would be perfect for radioplay. On the other hand, there are songs like Ring, Crowded Room or Fun, which really did not stand out to me and felt like filler tracks within this album.     All the songs are so different, yet so good and super enjoyable. The message all of these songs convey are amazing and empowering. This album is a confidence booster and is super raw and personal. An amazing piece of work. No lies, definitely one of the best album I heard from this artist, and also best album I’ve heard in many years.

    This album is so good! My favourite songs of the album kept changing the more I listened and I can’t even pinpoint just one! Lyrically and musically, each song is unique in its own way and all are relatable songs. I love how Selena is not afraid to play around with her sound. So proud of how much it has matured and how far she has come.

    While none of these 13 songs attempt the subtle weirdness of “Bad Liar” and the emotional thesis—self-love!—can be a bit one-note, Rare is the 27-year-old’s most cohesive record to date. ... But it’s difficult to come away from Rare with any real perspective on who Gomez is other than that she doesn’t want to be the person she was, whoever that similarly mysterious shadow was.
