    This album looks like it was made in less than 24 hours with all the unreleaseads and demos Ariana have been keeping in the drawer for the past 4 years. Completely forgettable, mediocre and identical to her last albums. Silly lyrics, generical instrumentals and no identity at all.

    Her worst album yet. The lyrics sound like a teenager who’s never actually had sex before but is desperately trying to convince her friends she has so looks she cool.

    The album is impeccable. I found it minimalist and very carefree. Perhaps one of the most mature of Ariana's career.

    On my first listen I couldn't bear to hear it in full as i found it too bad... Though some songs are growers, I hope Ari's next album is better.

    Ariana Grande trouxe um trabalho com sonoridade muito diferente do que geralmente escutamos, um álbum r&b coeso e com muito a oferecer. Não há dúvidas que é o álbum mais maduro da mesma, Ariana nunca decepciona no quesito se reinventar.

Ariana's vocals (those whistles, wow!), the instrumentals, beats, and everything blends to create a real R&B masterpiece! It may sound different from her past hits, but it's brilliant. The songs are fun, sassy, fresh, sometimes emotional, and the featuring artists really fit the style of the project.     I'm so glad Ariana Grande has found her way back to R&B music. Her vocal superpowers really show on this album as well as her lyrical and productive abilities.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
