    I think it's really good. It's better than Thank U Next for me. It's Ariana's best album (together with Sweetener), I think it's a really good album.

    ariana just wanted to continue the same THANK YOU NEXT theme sadly the pop princess this time it didn't work out, let's be honest, Positions looks like it's made in a blender like you put some THANK YOU NEXT AND sweeter. Unfortunately, we can say that the album is a remix of Thank U Next and Sweetner as well as being a poorly made and repetitive R&B genre.

    this album is genuinely amazing when you put down all expectations you have based on previous albums and just aim to enjoy it for what it is. it the continuation of grande’s storyline and she does an amazing job at delivering stunning vocals and lyrics that just make sense but are fun at the same time. she is making the music she wants to make with this one not the music people want.

    It astonishes me that a song with The Weeknd could be boring. This album follows that same trap beat, and it feels like more of the same. Also, she really needs so many songwriters on such short and simple songs? It makes the album feel less personal

    Ariana is an excellent singer, proving that her vocals are better with each work released. However, Positions is nowhere near his best work. This whole album seems to be made just to please fans and not a cohesive work.

    O album esta incrível, com uma tematica mais picante e prova que Ariana tem muito mais do que podemos esperar de uma A-list. Ainda em sua zona de conforto com seu trap-pop, tbm ousa em experimentacoes de arranjos orquestrais dos anos 50 e se joga num R&B bem gostoso de ouvir.

I understand that there comes a time where artists don't really need to please the general public with their music and this album just didn't include me as part of its target demographic. I loved 'Thank You, Next', 'Dangerous Woman' & even 'Sweetener' but as much as I want to love this one, I just can't. It's not bad by any means but it's just not for me.

    Standout tracks for me were:
    1. pov - because the melody along with the lyrics just hits the right spot. It doesn't feel too much of an outright ballad that tries to flex her vocals but simply these said vocals were being used to narrate a story that is so beautifully well-written. 2. motive - I love an Ariana verse as much as the next person but my favorite part of this song was Doja Cat. She exudes this sexy and confident style of rapping that's not really too much but just enough to get the message across. 3. off the table - another collaboration but unlike motive I equally love the exchange between Ariana and Abel. The harmonies were everything. & that's it. I don't really have other songs I want to go back to. Kudos to Ariana though, she's still one of the best vocalists in our generation. This album just wasn't for me but I wish her the best with this one because as far as I heard, this reflects how happy she is with her life right now.    … Expand

    Perfection. Favourite songs are POV Love Language and My Hair. Very different to her usual sound but in a positive way. Haven’t really heard anything like it. Immediately my favourite album of hers - possible favourite album ever - and it’s only been 1 day. Some instant favourite songs and then there are some that grow on you.     Perhaps due to lack of planning or the catharsis of the public to expect something more or something superior to the two previous albums, whose receptions and audience were what leveraged and prioritized her as the "Princess of pop" - even though pop was only in the era sweetener.
    thank u, next has a trap style and few songs of the genre that Ariana is used to: pop and R&B, such as bloodline music.
    On this album, given her versatility, she returns to R&B - the same as her first albums - and guarantees nothing more and nothing less than a dead album, as it was in her time in "dangerous woman" - where most of the songs were from other composers - and their debut album.
    Ariana is no different than she was in the 2013/2015 season: she just lost the shine of 2018/2019.
    positions in short words would be this: reheated of songs that talk about sex, futility, lust and in the end, almost dead, comes the final track "pov", the only intimate one - which serves no purpose, as it remains the same void of the album .
    To say that this is good ... Well, it is not. It is one of the worst jobs, exactly because it has so much expectation and the talent that this girl has.
    But not everything is critical: love language is great. It has a certain aura of "sweetener" and is better than many of "thank u, next" - which, unfortunately, gets to be horrible for repetition (I think Ariana is fascinated in repeated and ordinarily bad title tracks) -.
    However, even though the album is a bit complicated to hear - both due to the power and repeated chords - Ariana managed to do a good job "on the fly".    … Expand

    Ariana veio com mais um material morno e entediante como o seus últimos álbuns, as músicas parecem todas iguais, até katy perry conseguiu ser mais original no smile, o que salva o álbum são os vocais, que são tão tediosos ao ponto de você dormir, e olha que as faixas tem média de 2 minutos, ós instrumentais certamente seriam responsáveis por uma histeria coletiva de dor de ouvido.

    The global pandemic didn't stop her from making a pop-trap-r&b album. Her impact and her playful songs really make us feel great these days. Music should make you feel things and when we listen to positions we feel happy, nostalgic, risky, sexual and fierce. Positions is what we needed now, and even though it's a really different album we all love some Ariana Grande bops to have fun with.

    Um dos melhores ou o melhor álbum que eu escutei em 2020, sem duvidas o "Positions" é um trabalho extremamente maduro e sem erros, Ariana foi muito perspicaz em todo álbum, ele contem faixas incríveis e melódicas com feats muito bem escolhidos, sem duvidas é um dos álbuns da carreira, e "Positions" veio também para comprovar que Ariana é a melhor e maior cantora dessa geração

    Definitely a listenable album, but comparing to "Sweetener" and "Thank U Next", definitely not a masterpiece. It's good, not bad at all, but not excellent.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
