    At this point in her career nothing can be considered bad or horrible and even if it does the fans will make it #1 ,she have the lyrics and the vocals as usual, but the beats feel kind of repetitive at some tracks, it's a brand new sound for her and it is fun, but definitely not bigger then Thank u, next and sweetener...

    Positions is a very cohesive project, contrary to popular belief, this is one of her best albums lyrically and sonically. A lot of reviews are not fond of the sexual themes of this album, it seems like they want the pop star to be depressed every album and not have fun. Ariana explores more of her lower register and showcases her whistle register on this record. I believe people are not fond of this project because it’s “too slow” and they expect all of her songs to have high energy and crazy belts all the time. The album is definitely a grower and isn’t necessarily targeted for a mainstream/pop audience. It is a very R&B influenced project with hints of jazz and blues in tracks such as “My Hair”, or the sultry “Off the Table”, I guess people expected another love me harder 2.0 with this track. To conclude this review, Positions is not for everyone, but the good quality, production of the album can’t be denied even if you’re a fan or not.… Expand

    this album was everything i expected and more. the songs go hand in hand, all of them. the overall sound of the album is heavenly with amazing vocals, and there is not a single bad song on this album. i think the critics should rethink their reviews.

    The global pandemic didn't stop her from making a pop-trap-r&b album. Her impact and her playful songs really make us feel great these days. Music should make you feel things and when we listen to positions we feel happy, nostalgic, risky, sexual and fierce. Positions is what we needed now, and even though it's a really different album we all love some Ariana Grande bops to have fun with.

Mais um álbum "grower", atualmente não compreendido, mas futuramente amado por todos, aconteceu com o "Sweetener", e com outras artistas, como a Beyoncé com o "4", e a Rihanna com o "Anti"... a recepção crítica foi morna, mas hoje em dia são aclamados pelas mesmas que reclamaram! Temos uma ótima faixa título, que cresce a cada ouvida, e as músicas com participações são impecáveis. Apenas na primeira faixa "shut up", há uma dificuldade de absorver, mas no geral o álbum é incrível!!

    This is without a doubt her best work yet. From low notes to showing off whistle notes, this album shows vocal growth and material growth. She ditched her usually pop upbeat songs into an r&b filled album which she has created exceptionally. The album has no skips and every track is single-worthy. A perfect 10/10.

    he album for its self contains a lot of R&B, Soul hits, but it also has some misses. Some of the tracks felt like they were missing something, but the rest of the songs, and the collaborations turned out amazing, the instrumentals and vocals on point. Ariana did a great job with this album

    Ariana Grande shines through with this highly R&B-influenced 14-track record. Although not as ambitious as her previous work, she still proves herself worthy of attention and listening to after leaving the power-pop hits for sultry, slow-tempo R&B - a genre Ariana had wanted to dabble in since the beginning of her career. I would consider it a marvelous musical journey.

    This new album seems to be the third part of a trilogy that began with Sweetener and it followed with Thank U Next. An incredible good-structured album with big r&b influences that take Grande to a more nature stage. We can find a great cohesion, that one who Dangerous Woman didn't have. Best tracks: Safety Net, Off The Table and Love Language.

    The most mature and intimate album that Ariana has ever made.

    Definitely a masterpiece and I don't say that just because I'm a fan but bc she rocked again, she is a complete artist. It's
    very gratifying for me to hear that she is fine now after everything she has been through these past years.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
