The tracks are relaxing, some are filled with beautiful strings, and the melodies keep me hooked. My favorite part however are the lyrics! They’re all straight to the point and really feel authentic to her. This album was clearly put together with a lot ofI always appreciate an album that doesn’t seem like it’s trying too hard.     This is her best album after Sweetener. Clearly the one she always wanted to do. One of the most cohesive, dreamy, authentic albums of 2020. You are not gonna find your typical basic pop songs in here. Takes a while to get into it but it’s very worth it. So glad she finally found happiness.

With my initial listen, almost half of the songs didn't click - however, this album follows the footsteps of sweetener, and after 3 listens, I can't get it out of my head. Her vocals are unmatched, the production gives me a 90's vibe and the lyrics are incredibly cute. I love how expressive she is with this album, and I wouldn't change a thing about it (well,A stunning body of work.     it’s totally perfect, ari was very insightful, the album is different because it’s another vibe, but it’s possible to identify the trap, which makes it a touch of hers, and this mix resulted in perfection, the feats are also impeccable. It is indeed an album that will take time to digest, but I loved it the first time I heard it, some people don't, so my score is 10.

    on this album, ariana drops pop and dives right into r&b, with rap/r&b features, slow tempo, quick tempo, jazzy, bluesy songs, this is ariana’s most mature and well produced album. vocal layering (and the vocals in general) are indescribable, and the overall production is immaculate. definitely would recommend (and i already did!)

    Es un álbum con calidad vocal exquisita, no es comercial, y desempeña a la perfección el R&B hermoso que nos da Ariana, canciones como: Pov. Positions. Safety net. Obvius. Nos dan una hermosa letra acompañado la de hermosas melodías. Los Whistle voice de Nasty son impresionantes. Es un álbum sencillamente perfecto.

    Grande is making no effort to be discreet, instead explicitly owning her sexuality—the album is called Positions, after all. The juxtaposition of beautiful violin sounds and risqué lyrics has become one of Grande’s signature sounds, and it suits her well.

    Grande laid bare may well be seen as a stopgap in her canon, using taboo to checkmate her past trauma, but it does pull off the rare feat of at least sounding effortless.

    With little conflict and few psychological insights, Positions zeroes in on the enviable confidence that only pop stars on top of the world and with nothing to lose can afford. It's easy to write it off as empty calories, but pop has always been described in such terms: cake, candy, chocolate, confection. Positions isn't a "sweetener" but pure sugar.
