    Arguably her best album to date, but in my uneducated opinion, I feel like every time she tries to dabble in another genre, it ends up too clean and "pop-y" (Bangerz, Younger Now). As a rock album this is just fine, as a pop-rock album it's above average.

    Side note: Her lyrics are always very well written and the power of her voice is undeniable.

    Amazing album, My favorite out of her discography. Still, some tracks are lacking is some parts. Miley surely has found her way in this field. I can't wait for the follow-up!

    Way way better than anything she has ever attempted by miles. Bangers was god awful. One of the worst albums ever made. Great job Miley you turned yourself around.

    The fact that most reviews here are either 10 or 0 shows the depth of analysis among Cyrus fans and haters, but if they could really pay attention or had wider reference points they'd find this album somewhere in the high end of the middle. The songs are good, with some obvious lifts from others: she proves she's heard "Sympathy For The Devil" by stealing the opening congas-and-echo-squealThe fact that most reviews here are either 10 or 0 shows the depth of analysis among Cyrus fans and haters, but if they could really pay attention or had wider reference points they'd find this album somewhere in the high end of the middle. The songs are good, with some obvious lifts from others: she proves she's heard "Sympathy For The Devil" by stealing the opening congas-and-echo-squeal for the title track; pulls Joan Jett and Billy Idol in for attempted rock cred, despite neither having a hit in 30 years (yet Idol still sings rings around her); and attempts to actually become Taylor Swift on "Hate Me". A sign that the gal still needs growth is her need to throw in a curse word when possible (I can picture her fans giggling after each one like Japanese female stereotypes), but her biggest problem is the same one she's had since she decided she was a rock star - she rarely sounds like one.     The album could be perfectly right if Miley would've removed Hate Me and Plastic Hearts out of it. But thanks, Miley, you gave us the 4th best album of the year.

Однако, на альбоме много слитых песен, которые стоило бы оставить в прошлом и записать новые, вторая половина альбома звучит как песни Ханны Монтаны середин 00х, но по большому счету альбом хороший.Альбом в разы превосходящий предыдущие два, которые Майли выпустила за последние 5 лет.     Plastic Hearts is by far Miley's best album, the song writing just didn't do it for me. The only song I listen to on a daily basis on this album is the title track, "Plastic Hearts."

    Miley nos ha dado su mejor álbum, pero me deja pobre de hits. Me gusta mucho más este rollo de Miley y la producción me ha sorprendido para bien después de ver lo que acostumbró con Younger Now. Ojalá siempre la Miley de Midnight Sky, Nothing Breaks Like a Heart y Slide Away.

    Confesso que não gostei tanto quanto eu esperava, mas é um bom álbum com algumas músicas realmente muito boas. Um dos grandes problemas foi a sequência das músicas, logo depois da primeira música minha energia ficou lá em cima mas as coisas ficam mornas bem rápido na sequência. Gostei muito das escolhas dos feats, Prisioner e Night Crawling funcionaram muitíssimo bem, já a parceria com aConfesso que não gostei tanto quanto eu esperava, mas é um bom álbum com algumas músicas realmente muito boas. Um dos grandes problemas foi a sequência das músicas, logo depois da primeira música minha energia ficou lá em cima mas as coisas ficam mornas bem rápido na sequência. Gostei muito das escolhas dos feats, Prisioner e Night Crawling funcionaram muitíssimo bem, já a parceria com a Joan Jett me deixou com sentimentos mistos. No geral, o rumo do álbum ao revisitar o glam rock oitentista foi uma ótima escolha e seus vocais estão NO PONTO! Os instrumentais me deixaram dividida pois gostaria de ouvir algo mais orgânico e menos pop genérico em algumas faixas.… Expand

    Her vocal style perfectly suits rock. Not usually a fan of covers, but HOG and - particularly - Edge of Midnight were exceptional!

    The tracks on this very hit or miss. For example, Heart of Glass Live, Mignight Sky & Angels Like You are amazing tracks. However, some other tracks kind of missed the spot in my opinion.

    standard pop-rock album while Cyrus hasn’t quite made the transition from pop star to rock star just yet it’s a solid effort but also very disappointing. if this is the wild side of her at it’s displayed on the record then it’s very safe to say she’s lost her edge and is scrambling to replicate the shock factor she saw in her glory days.

    Um bom álbum, a voz da miley engaja muito bem com influências de rock, mas não sou muito fã das influencias disco (80's) e acredito que a segunda metade do álbum não possua a mesma qualidade da primeira

    It's definately not a bad album, but it doesn't live up the hype. Midnight Sky was amazing, Prisoner was OK and the Joan Jett & Billy Idol collabs (which had the potential to be her best songs ever) were very dissapointing. A lot of bangers, but few personality.

    After years of struggling to find her perfect sound, Miley Cyrus makes the discovery on Plastic Hearts. The album shows how rock is excellent for her signature voice and raspy vocals, but with a somewhat shaky production and lackluster songs, it fumbles. Nonetheless, it’s a great road that Miley is currently going down on and we can only hope she willl go full speed and experiment even more.

    Some really good sounds here. Miley really went rock, which is an amazing thing once it fitted perfectly to her voice. However, even though it's a very strong album sonically, it couldn't be a bigger disater lyric wise. The lyrics hardly ever tell you something and when they do it's just so shallow that the atmosphere of intimacy an album should totally disappears. Anyways, as whole MileySome really good sounds here. Miley really went rock, which is an amazing thing once it fitted perfectly to her voice. However, even though it's a very strong album sonically, it couldn't be a bigger disater lyric wise. The lyrics hardly ever tell you something and when they do it's just so shallow that the atmosphere of intimacy an album should totally disappears.     Truly mock-rock, wanna be rock star music. Half of the album is noise, with a few exemptions with Angels Like You and High. A great voice, yes, but with one dimensional lyrics, it does all the work, which isn't enough. The songs are thematically and sonically repetitive and this album brings nothing new to her discography. She has done this before and I am left craving maturity and growth.

    Plastic Hearts is "marginally competent" album. It gives 90's vibe and mostly budget version of "rock and synth" genre tracks. "Angels Like You" and "Midnight Sky" are the two tracks that is acceptable in the album the rest is a straight up mess.

    Going rock is perhaps her best decision. Her voice thrives in the presence of guitar licks ,growls and angst. "Plastic heart" does play like someone's impression of a rock record but it does so without succumbing to its own clichés. Definitely her best.

    Despite the unnecessary concessions to conventionality, Plastic Hearts still manages to reveal even more layers to Cyrus’ ever-expanding musical palette, proving she can take on whatever genre she desires and give it her own unique sense of flair.
