Originalmente o álbum seria intitulado ''SHEI IS MILEY CYRUS'' e traria uma outra faceta/conceito; porém com seu divórcio, a operação nas cordas vocais e a pandemia do COVID o álbum acabou sendo adiado.

    No geral, é um álbum coeso e autêntico a quem É a Miley Cyrus no momento. Ela conseguiu colocar neste álbum sua essência, tanto atual, quantos das eras passadas, que por fim, todos esses tons moldam quem é a MILEY, sendo a de Breakout, Bangerz ou de Plastic Hearts. Ela conseguiu misturar muito bem esse elementos no disco visto que o encarte e a divulgação do álbum está girando em todas as eras dela com um toque dos anos 80 e influências como Guns'n'Roses, Metallica, Billy Idol e outras artistas...

    Esse COMEBACK em PH traz a versão mais autêntica da MC, trazendo os ciclos do amor e a superação para se autoconhecer dentro e fora de um relacionamento. Dalê PH!    … Expand

    one of her best albums after bangerz. a true body of work with a complete new sound for miley cyrus. she can literally pull of anything and she did it very well with this record. im a fan, always. my faves are: gimme what i want, never be me, night crawling, wtf do i know, midnight sky, heart of glass, angels like you andddd prisoner

    Not only is "Plastic Hearts" the best album of 2020 it is also Miley Cyrus' best work to date! Cyrus' voice fits the rock-pop genre perfectly and the collaborations with Stevie Nicks, Dua Lipa, Billy Idol and Joan Jett & the Blackhearts make this album a skipless masterpiece.

Despite these songs being oh-so-different from one an another, the amalgam created in the album flows perfectly with no dissonance whatsoever. She showed her lyrical mastermind as well as her prodigal, phenomenal, divine, and absolutely bewitching vocals! 10/10!     Despite the unnecessary concessions to conventionality, Plastic Hearts still manages to reveal even more layers to Cyrus’ ever-expanding musical palette, proving she can take on whatever genre she desires and give it her own unique sense of flair.
