    dear lord this is awful. My expectations for this album weren't high but since everyone was hyping it so much they weren't low either. I was expecting an enjoyable modern take on 80s rock but instead I got one of the worst albums I have ever listened to. you know that feeling you get when you eat something disgusting and you just have to immediately wash it away with a lot of water? I had that exact feeling after listening to this album. This is the first album I have listened to that just made me beg for it to stop. after the first 3 tracks I wasn't listening anymore, I was just putting up with it for the sake of listening to it. the songwriting is awful and way too repetitive, the vocals while Miley's voice is actually really good, feel off putting and annoying here, the futures are all great artists who seem to have had a really bad day when recording this, and the instrumental is incredibly bland. I think I'm part of a minority here and even a lot of the critics really liked this record so give it a try, but for me it was just bad.… Expand

    Mais uma das 300 personalidades da nossa querida Miley, tantos anos de carreira e ao menos conseguiu formar um identidade musical desde o início transitava pelos gêneros e estilo que estavam em alta em uma tentativa desesperada de hitar! Ta na hora de assumir a personalidade principal!

    It is an excellent album and Miley was very perceptive in all the tracks mainly as Angels Like You and Midnight Sky are phenomenal, her best work without a doubt.

    Utter trash!!! I do not recommend! Cheap imitation of actual rock. This is an insult to true music. My ears hurt just thinking about how this album sounded.

    The songwriting here is just not very good. And even when the referential tracks are fairly decent, they only would have been minor entries of their era. Shades of Madonna and Avril can’t disguise that there’s no distinguished personality here.

    Basic old music spotify playlist mixed with infantility. It doesn't even go with the flow of recent music nostalgy. I mean, ok, Nightcrawling may be a kind of powerful bop but it sounds just like Billy Idol's song. Single Prisoner? Dua would do it by herself (hell yes she proved it).     Despite the unnecessary concessions to conventionality, Plastic Hearts still manages to reveal even more layers to Cyrus’ ever-expanding musical palette, proving she can take on whatever genre she desires and give it her own unique sense of flair.
