    A poppier polish, especially vocally, coats this album as they move into catchier, crowd-pleasing metalcore territory with mixed results.

    III is acceptable only to the loyal fans, as it ultimately does little right and sees Periphery at an all-time creative low, failing to improve on any of their faults. For all the instrumental complexity and quirky songwriting choices, it will just sound forced to most.

    Well it's still the same Periphery we heard on first and second album, but this time it's better overall. The album may seem long at first,Well it's still the same Periphery we heard on first and second album, but this time it's better overall. The album may seem long at first, but every song is unique and I wouldn't drop anything. Production is awesome, and Spencer's vocals are insane. What lacks is that the melodies are not as catchy as on previous records. You won't find another Scarlett. But as a Periphery fan I dig it, it overpasses Juggernaut easily.… Full Review »

The technical skills of mark, jake, misha, adam and matt are incredible and Spencers vocals are insane, proving once again that they go up like an angel and down like a wounded Ox. In my opinion, not as strong as Periphery 2, but will be a good entry point for new listeners due to the inviting nature of the vocals. A lot less harsh screams and what not. Orchestral portions spread throughout will delight Dream Theater fans :P… Full Review »
