Clearly the best album of 2019 and Lana's best yet. Can't stop listening to it. It's so melodious and her vocals are so soft and lush. Her music is like a blessing to the ears and the soul. There will never be anyone like Lana. NFR is surely her most honest album yet. Just love it.

Lana Del Rey improves her writing, composing and singing skills from album to album. They definitely get better. This one is very conceptual, especially in lyrics and sound. The songs contain one of her best words. It is the best Lana's album. Pure art.

I wish she would switch up her style. I’m bored of this. I felt like I was listening to a Lust For Life part two rather than a new Lana Del Rey album.

excellent album, legitimate body of work. taylor stans need to get off of here... petty much? 12 year olds, focus on bringing up your own albums rather than bringing down an actual decent body of work. maybe focus on get the rights back to your own music

Things inevitably drift, but beneath the surface in the best songs there is a toughness and a newfound resilience.

It's a remarkably sharp pop record that retains her fascination with pop-culture iconography and the rosey simplicity of a post-war America where classic rock and blue jeans ruled and takes them to much deeper places. ... Think of it as an hour-long car ride peeling down the highway with classic rock blaring out of the radio and no real destination in mind other than where your impulsive nature might take you.

A thematically rich record, heavy on mood and elegantly written in a way that positions Del Rey between Eve Babitz and Carole King. There are beguiling and evolving melodies underneath the spare piano and acoustic arrangements. [Nov 2019, p.24]
