Anyone that gives this album less than a 8 and calls themselves true hip-hop fans is just a hater of Em and will trash anything he does. And that is just sad.

A reinvention of classic Em, comeback of infectious production and flows, an onslaught of bars and a 10/10 feature list. Even Ed Sheeran sounds great on the record despite the overtly cheesy hook.

This album represents a return to form and assured Eminem another home run. On this release Shady does what he does best: selling truckloads of copies and making critics question its merit. The Juice WRLD collaboration “Godzilla” has held steady at No. 2 on the U.S. Spotify chart and No. 4 on the global chart, pointing to a strong debut on next week’s Hot 100. In the end Marshall Mathers’s latest effort has the numbers to debut atop the billboard hot 200 and granting Eminem his record 10th consecutive No.1 debut. Expand

One of the best albums Em has released in recent memory, even though it is not a full return to old-school TES, SSLP, and MMLP Eminem, it is the closest thing. There aren't any songs on the album that I skip when listening to it, which is a great sign. Expand

1996 Em dropped his first album, since that time Em gave us fantastic and tasteful music.
after the great comeback "kamikaze" he dropped another great album after 20+ career in the game.

Beast, what an Album. For him to be in the game this long and still being able to pull of something like this is incredible!

A combination of all the good things in the goats career.
Eminem claps back again and kills another album. Classic Eminem leaving people butthurt everywhere! What he was destined to do. The goat is back!

Out of this world rapping ability, technical flows, deep storytelling, and BARZ for days!! Eminem is a goat and proves that once again. Expand

Incredible work of art with a passionate return to his magnum opus. Eminem operates on a level far beyond that of any current artist in today’s industry.

Not the best of his but the best of this year. My favorites are Godzilla, Little Engine and Unaccommodating, and Darkness.

One of his best projects in years, dark and moody befitting the title of the album. Too early to say but might be up there with his big 3 for me. Feels like a more well rounded project than kamikaze(which I loved) and certainly better than revival or MMLP2(a record I did like as well).

Strong output from one of the legends of the industry, in what i'd consider his best project in a decade. Good mix of flows, production, storytelling, silliness, and his unique ability to rhyme and scheme like no one else.

Eminem is back with another surprise drop. A high energy but moody punch that is both entertaining and thought provoking. Eminem’s penmanship is the sharpest it’s been in a long time, it’s like he’s never lost a step on this album. Reconnecting with Dr. Dre is the icing on the cake; the perfect marriage for song quality (which has been spotty at times post-comeback.)

Wow Amazing 10 out of 10 give it a full listen twice if you're hater try to understand the lyrics and you'll find he's a genius.

He clearly cares about his output, but “Music To Be Murdered By” is, unfortunately, another mixed bag of tricks, propped up by lyrical acrobatics and underwhelming production.

If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.

It is not, strictly speaking, a good record—Eminem hasn’t made one of those in a decade—but it boasts enough technical command and generates just enough arresting ideas to hold your attention.
