    Pros:
    -Great Features (Anderson Paak, Juice wrld, Black Thougt)
    -The intro and mid section are very good
    -Is good way to forget recovery
    Cons:
    -Too many Tracks
    -Some tracks are terrible
    -The concept of the name or art work doesn´t feel right with the tracks

    The album is incredibly inconsistent, but has its bright spots that are bright enough to save it from being Revival 2.0. A solid 7/10.

    I like this album, songs like Darkness really show how good Em can be, some songs like stepdad are really disappointing tho, this album is a step in the good direction for Em.

    An overall good album with some surprising sounds and features I didn't excpect from EMINEM. The album definatly has highs and lows but is a pleasure to listen to. The better tracks in my opinion are: Darkness, Leaving Heaven and Godzilla. Darkness shows that Eminem is still brilliant with the pen, most of the song can be interpreted in two ways, Leaving heaven is a little more emotionalAn overall good album with some surprising sounds and features I didn't excpect from EMINEM. The album definatly has highs and lows but is a pleasure to listen to. The better tracks in my opinion are: Darkness, Leaving Heaven and Godzilla. Darkness shows that Eminem is still brilliant with the pen, most of the song can be interpreted in two ways, Leaving heaven is a little more emotional than most tracks on this album, talking about his dad who passed away recently and Godzilla is some fun fast spittin' by Eminem which remains fun to listen to even if Em doesnt have too much to say. Low points on the album for me are tracks like Those kinda nights with Ed Sheeran, which overall just doesnt sound great doesnt have anything to say and I think the verses dont really match the chorus.

    Overall, this is a solid album, but it could easily do without following songs: Leaving Heaven, Farewell, Stepdad, Never Love Again, In Too Deep and Those Kinda Nights. The reason for why these are not great songs, is bad production, boring flow and, sometimes, corny bars. The rest of the album though, is great.

    Its been a while since eminem dropped a satisfactory album (MMLP2). The last two albums felt unfinished but this one certainly didnt. The only problem was the average beats and eminems lifeless voice. Other than that, i loved it!

    Underwhelming compared to last year's Kamikaze, Eminem has still provided enough heat and personality to keep the album off the ground. "Godzilla" is a surefire hit.

    Not bad but definitely not great, at least it's an improvement upon Kamikaze since that album was really bad... I don't have much to say because I'm not an expert but I didn't like some of the flows and the songs sometimes felt kinda boring...

    This is certainly a solid effort from Eminem all round, although a handful of the tracks become tiresome after a couple of listens, and others are fairly forgettable. There are some highlights here which help overall (Darkness, and the Don Toliver feature was a welcome surprise). Darkness is the kinda track that convices me that the old Em that wrote Stan still is alive and well in Marshall. Godzilla is on the other side of the spectrum, fun and fast. I like both sides of this.     Most of the tracks are average, beats are poor and he sounds like he's doing simple talking instead of rapping. Despite that, I really enjoyed "Premonition", "Unaccommodating", "Marsh" and "I Will". Also, the hooks are great.

    Tbh, it would be better rated if he cut some songs and retired the whole "I hate my parents" motif. I think compared to his other recent projects its better but as an album standalone its very average.

    Good album, 'You Gon Learn' is my favourite track of the album, however with 2 or 3 skippable songs and no real lead singles or songs that feel are big I dont think it matches his previous calibre or work.

For much of the album he sounds more comfortable in his delivery, and seems to be less reliant on the choppy flows that made Revival such a grating listen. While some of his cornier bars were actually quite entertaining, he’s at his most painstakingly cringeworthy on the hooks. Some tracks such as ‘Marsh’, I found genuinely entertaining until he compared himself to a field and said he’s an extraterrestrial. I think the highlights on the album were when Em was just enjoying himself rather than trying to impress or prove a point. The fast rapping at the end of Godzilla ruined the track for me. Everyone knows he can do it but just because it sounds good, doesn’t take away from the fact that he squeezes in pure nonsense, aware that no one can criticise it if he says it too quickly for them to understand. In similar vein,, hearing another song about Em’s tumultuous upbringing feels like fam service, going back to Em’s edgy, cringey worst as you have to endure a 45 year old man whining about parental issues like an angsts 16 year old.… Expand

I'll start by saying how great the transition is from Kamikaze to MTBMB -- Premonition even *sounds* like a Kamikaze track! Tracks such as the aforementioned "Premonition (Intro)", "Little Engine" and "Darkness" reminisce a lot better and honestly just fit on the album better than "Those Kinda Nights"... or "Farewell". To be honest, these songs probably shouldn't have been on here. It's tight to hear another Em storytelling song, but it's a bumpy road going from a reuniting of Bad Meets Evil, and Alfred Hitchcock, directly to "River 2".

    I am a great fan of "Darkness", "Godzilla" and "Yah Yah". It's great to see Em using their platform for gun violence awareness, and the storytelling is amazing as usual. The only issue is with the music video, it interrupted the intended direction and spoiled most of the double entendres for me--and the song as a result.

    "Marsh" and "In Too Deep" are structurally opposites--I feel Marsh has great verses, but a bad chorus. In Too Deep, on the other hand, I only listen to it for the chorus and then skip. The rest of the album is... meh. Again, it probably would've been better if Em stayed on topic. If I had to rate both sides, the first side is orders by magnitude better. The album sadly fell apart after "Lock it Up". But seriously, before I write my farewells, how *do* you un-suck a ****?    … Expand

    It has really good songs, yes. But some of the songs in here are truly awful. The best songs are some of the best songs he’s ever put out in the past half decade, but the presence of the terrible songs really hinders me giving it a positive review.

    Clearly Eminem is a great rapper. Nevertheless, he's the most uninteresting person on earth at this point. This thing reeks of "been there done that" and completely fades from ones attention before the halfway point. Couple of nice spots on here but they're drowned in an overlong track list that really can't keep it up. 5/10 pretty much based on technical ability above all else.

Eminem’s satirist nature comes through to tell his story of how he feels about violence and gun control. The production on the album is top notch, the beats are amazing and the flows are on point. This album gives us amazing feature artists and has a balanced mix of old school artistry with new styles of rap. I just can’t stop listening this album gets better with every play.… Expand

    This album is mediocre at best, it's an improvement over Kamikaze and Revival but Eminem's golden days are far away now. Em tries to innovate for a new generation but honestly fails and feels like more of the same modern Em. There are some good tracks but none I'd revisit.

    Eminem’s ‘Music to be Murdered by’ is shallow attempt to recreate the edgy music Eminem was known for back in his early career, but without the edgy substance that his older music was known and felt like it was trying to not offend a single person. Which makes it un-edgy. Songs such as ‘Unaccommodating’ and ‘No Regrets’ just sound as far from an Eminem song as possible. Whilst the rest ofEminem’s ‘Music to be Murdered by’ is shallow attempt to recreate the edgy music Eminem was known for back in his early career, but without the edgy substance that his older music was known and felt like it was trying to not offend a single person. Whilst the rest of the album just sounds like a generic Eminem song stripped down to its basic components replayed all over again with little tweaks. It’s only bearable song is ‘Godzilla’ and even though it’s been carried to the charts by the tragic death of Juice WRLD, Eminem’s part is extremely inferior to his piers section of the song. It’s not a tragic album, it’s far from a terrible project, but for an album that has been written and created by a artist with as much creative ability in writing and performing as Eminem it just feels like a lazy attempt to profit off of a generic format and style of rap music that he helped create and refine into a style that at its high points was the best in the world.… Expand

Distasteful remarks about the tragedy and murder of innocents by extremists at an Ariana Grande Concert, downright corny and cringe like 'I'm a candle, I'll go out if you blow on me'. It isn't anything special and leaves plenty of room to grow. at this point, Eminem is a different person to the one he was 6 - 20 years ago and should be treated like a relatively new artist. this album feels like a sophomore record from a newish rapper.     Eminem's latest work gives some nostalgia from his previous work. His brutally honest and somewhat out-of-line choice of words in most of his tracks are accompanied by cheap underwhelming production.

    Eh. That’s all I really have to say about this thing. Just eh. Eminem delivers his “bars” like a commanding officer. Lyrics are mostly quite cringeworthy and corny. Really quite a shame how much Eminem has gotten worse since his prime, however at least this is better than Revival and Kamikaze. Wouldn’t really recommend.

    Music to be murdered by is the best album Eminem has released since the Marshall Mathers LP2, but it doesn't change the fact that it is still a bloaded and messy project with a handfull of good tracks.

    Just because a artist has raw skill does not mean they are capable of making a good project or song. This album has some of the worst bars I’ve ever heard and mediocre beats to go with them. Just cause fast word man is going fast does not mean he is saying anything that isn’t corny or stupid.

    With some of the corniest bars in his discography, Eminem fails another attempt at trying to go back to his glory days. While some of the highs of the album are enjoyable and the production is better than his last two projects, the songwriting keeps taking a dive to the point where Eminem thinks rapping fast equals good writing.

This album is decent at best, it is for sure the best project Eminem has put out in a decade or so, but it's not great. The production is alright, but the mastering is trash.     I know all the Eminem fans are just spamming 10/10. Which is fake. However, despite wanting to give this a 0-1 just to compensate their fake reviews. I am still going to give it what i think it deserves a 4-5. Reasoning: Cons:

    I will never understand how eminem stans will call this man the greatest of all time when he’s released basically the same music since 2000s. He only ever somewhat switched it up between 2009-2012. Other than that he just drops “controversial” bars over lazy beats and raps fast. If you still find that amazing then I don’t know what to say. Also I'm also happy to see eminem open up to the new wave of music with artists like Juice WRLD, Young M.A and Don Toliver, however their more creative and innovative approaches to music clash a bit with eminem's tried and true lyrical fast rap formula that he's developed over the years.

    What the album does decent:
    The production. The production is pretty decent, however does absolutely nothing in the field of innovation. The beats, although i would classify as pretty good, don't do anything that I've never heard before. I think the length of this album kind of took away from this, as shorter albums tend to include the mixing of songs together to create an enjoyable listening experience from start to finish. None of the beats hit especially hard either. there is no really great moment on this record where you say "Wow that beat bumps." Leaving the production at "Meh" at best. Next, the concepts on some of these songs. For an album to earn a very high rating in my books, it has to carry a concept. now eminem's album doesn't do this, however many of the songs feature concepts. There are a few songs on this album that have great concepts with lots of meaning, such as Darkness, where Em does a great job of comparing himself as a young adult and a drug addict to a school shooter. The track is pretty excellent in the field of meaning. Sadly there are some tracks where the concept is just kind of gross, specifically "Those Kinda Nights." featuring Ed Sheeran. This song brings us Eminem's gross, kind of cringe, kind of annoying club style 'Girl You're Very Sexy" song which is a concept that Em should have left behind a long long time ago.

    Finally the bad parts about this album:
    This may be surprising to some, but I think eminem's over-the-top fast rapping ruins songs in this album. A song will be nice, some of his flows are complex, yet they fit in decently. THEN, out of nowhere, speedy mcspeed comes around with his auctioneer slippery quick lines that are too fast to understand, and have significantly less meaning than his slower lines. Next is eminem's singing, His singing voice just isn't the best instrument for his songs, as he always manages to sound nasally and with too many stereo and doubling effects put on that make him sound even more raspy and dry. For someone who talks so much about how much he hates auto tune, his vocals require way too much processing to sound decent, and I think he could really do for some auto tune. lastly, Anothing annoying thing is the story telling cuts, although I'd have to say the Stepdad intro was really well done and painted a great image in my head, however sadly the song contained such annoying singing and such an awful, muddy beat that I just couldn't make it all the way through.

    I think the thing I have to say about this album is that you should just read the lyrics instead of listening to it, because the story telling is good, but the way the album sounds is just decent at best. Really not a great album, in terms of production, delivery, and overall sound. Definitely better than his last two tho. So, props to him.    … Expand

    i get that he says controversial things on every album he released, but this time, i think we went too far. manchester attack was a tragedy. 22 died including a young girl age 7. this is so sad and not for entertainment. he did raise 2 million dollars for the victims, but that doesn’t help bringing lives back, and doesn’t mean he could said or mentioned about manchester like this.

Eminem doesn’t mesh with the majority of the features making some songs sound kind of awkward. The production is hit or miss for me but shines on some tracks, and Eminem’s fast flows getI somewhat below average, but not downright terrible album by Eminem.     Honestly just another washed up em album. He still uses the same technical rhyme schemes that sounds bad. He trys so hard to have a good flow but the lyrical content is lacking and he still says offensive and corny lines too often.

    If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.
