Jan 22, 2020Good, not great
Pros:
-Great Features (Anderson Paak, Juice wrld, Black Thougt)
-The intro and mid section are very good
-Is good way to forget recovery
Cons:
-Too many Tracks
-Some tracks are terrible
-The concept of the name or art work doesn´t feel right with the tracks -
Jan 22, 2020The album is incredibly inconsistent, but has its bright spots that are bright enough to save it from being Revival 2.0. A solid 7/10.
-
Jan 22, 2020This is a really quality album, I think it’s the best work Eminem has put out since the MMLP 2.
-
Mar 3, 2020I like this album, songs like Darkness really show how good Em can be, some songs like stepdad are really disappointing tho, this album is a step in the good direction for Em.

Dec 18, 2020Overall, this is a solid album, but it could easily do without following songs: Leaving Heaven, Farewell, Stepdad, Never Love Again, In Too Deep and Those Kinda Nights. The reason for why these are not great songs, is bad production, boring flow and, sometimes, corny bars. The rest of the album though, is great.
-
Jul 26, 2021Nem Nem still be mad, but at least he (WAS) going in the right direction with this one. Avoids the kamikaze effect
Favorites: Darkness, Yah Yah, You Gon Learn, Godzilla, I Will, Never Love Again, Little Engine, Marsh, Lock It Up, Leaving Heaven (VERSE 3)
Least Favorites: THE REST (Premonition has a great beat as well as no regrets having one, they're boring -
Dec 30, 2021Its been a while since eminem dropped a satisfactory album (MMLP2). The last two albums felt unfinished but this one certainly didnt. The only problem was the average beats and eminems lifeless voice. Other than that, i loved it!
-
Sep 5, 2022Not his best work but not his worst. I likes the song darkness because of its message and song like those kinda nights with had a catchy hook
-
May 29, 2020Underwhelming compared to last year's Kamikaze, Eminem has still provided enough heat and personality to keep the album off the ground. "Godzilla" is a surefire hit.
-
Jan 22, 2020Not bad but definitely not great, at least it's an improvement upon Kamikaze since that album was really bad... I don't have much to say because I'm not an expert but I didn't like some of the flows and the songs sometimes felt kinda boring...
-
Jan 23, 2020It's OK, some good tracks, some meh tracks. Liked it better than Kamikaze. Darkness is pretty good.

-
Jan 17, 2020Most of the tracks are average, beats are poor and he sounds like he's doing simple talking instead of rapping. Despite that, I really enjoyed "Premonition", "Unaccommodating", "Marsh" and "I Will". Also, the hooks are great.

-
Jan 22, 2020Mediocre album. Best we’ve had from em in a few. Only about 2/3 tracks I reckon I’ll go back to
-
Feb 5, 20208-10 good tracks but also some unexplainable ones like Stepdad (i hAAaaAtE mY..... sTePdaD!!!).
-
Jan 25, 2020Tbh, it would be better rated if he cut some songs and retired the whole "I hate my parents" motif. I think compared to his other recent projects its better but as an album standalone its very average.
-
Jan 28, 2020Good album, 'You Gon Learn' is my favourite track of the album, however with 2 or 3 skippable songs and no real lead singles or songs that feel are big I dont think it matches his previous calibre or work.

Dec 24, 2020It has really good songs, yes. But some of the songs in here are truly awful. The best songs are some of the best songs he’s ever put out in the past half decade, but the presence of the terrible songs really hinders me giving it a positive review.
-
Oct 2, 2022actually a decent album from Eminem his first more positive than a negative album in 7 years and might be a good change of form for him if he doesn't **** it up with the next album
-
Jan 24, 2022I'm kinda surprised that the user score is so high, I thought even Eminem's own fans would've seen that this album isn't particularly strong. This isn't a masterpiece or a ten and there's a reason why the critics score is lower than the user's
-
Jan 20, 2020Clearly Eminem is a great rapper. Nevertheless, he's the most uninteresting person on earth at this point. This thing reeks of "been there done that" and completely fades from ones attention before the halfway point. Couple of nice spots on here but they're drowned in an overlong track list that really can't keep it up. 5/10 pretty much based on technical ability above all else.
-
Jan 22, 2020It's really average. Fairly similar to Eminems recent works but really just "not as bad." Unfortunate evolution for him
-
Jan 22, 2020It's got 5 out of 18 songs that I like. I am really bored with his supersonic flow, it doesn't sound cool it's just annoying.
-
Jan 17, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020It’s okay. Has good tracks, but overall I only go back to a handful of them.
-
Jan 20, 2020
-
Jan 23, 2020Some Strong Songs on this record for sure. But Some Are Definitely Bland. Production Can Be Better. In General a very OK album nothing special at all.
Also Lyrics can be.......Very insensitive and Very stupid....like Very to he point where it’s cringey. -
Jan 22, 2020Ems best work in a long while, but still very inconsistent, too long and the middle portion is very weak.
-
Jan 17, 2020A fusion between the horrorcore style album Relapse and the more modern Kamilaze culminates into this album inspired by Alfred Hitchcock.
-
Jan 19, 2020This album clearly potrays the rappers prowess over his lyrical abilities. His mindfull metaphors and clever references makes this album a proper manifestation of higher power at work.
-
Jan 22, 2020There is not a single track you will skip!
Eminem is The GOAT! So many favorite tracks and the last part of God-Zilla is -

-
Jan 22, 2020Eminem shows improvement from past projects, but filler love songs and some straight up bad songs make the album a lower score.
Best Tracks: Leaving Heaven, Little Engine, Lock it Up, No Regrets
Worst Track: Stepdad -

Jan 22, 2020Shady brings forth... an attempt to fit in with the new age of rap with his trap beats and so forth. Maybe he should stick to what he was good at.
-
Jan 22, 2020His greatest album in the last 10 years!
Eminem is back baby! Slim shady is back -
Jan 22, 2020This album is mediocre at best, it's an improvement over Kamikaze and Revival but Eminem's golden days are far away now. Em tries to innovate for a new generation but honestly fails and feels like more of the same modern Em. There are some good tracks but none I'd revisit.
-
Jan 22, 2020It's ok, not as bad as his previous last 2 records but no where near as good as his 2 best records.
-
Jan 23, 2020Not bad, not great. Just average. Eminem should know how to end his career, its just getting cringe.
-
Jan 23, 2020overreacted c'mon, you Eminem fans named **** Tanner just gave it a 10 bc of revival and kamakazi, go punch a wall and down a monster or something, just please be honest.

-
Jan 23, 2020It’s not as bad as it could have been. Still doesn’t deserve the rating it currently has but it is far better than his latest projects
-
Jan 25, 2020This is one of those album you can enjoy it from the beginning to the end, even those songs that arent your style had something good. I am very satisfied.. Thanks Eminem
-
Jan 29, 2020It's the best in whatever way you map it. The era going on doesn't value artists and that's a fact.

Aug 29, 2020Eminem's latest work gives some nostalgia from his previous work. His brutally honest and somewhat out-of-line choice of words in most of his tracks are accompanied by cheap underwhelming production.
-
Dec 18, 2020Eh. That’s all I really have to say about this thing. Just eh. Eminem delivers his “bars” like a commanding officer. Lyrics are mostly quite cringeworthy and corny. Really quite a shame how much Eminem has gotten worse since his prime, however at least this is better than Revival and Kamikaze. Wouldn’t really recommend.
-
Nov 7, 2022An another classic It has everything from the lyrics eminem is known for to the flow
-
Jul 24, 2023Music to be murdered by is the best album Eminem has released since the Marshall Mathers LP2, but it doesn't change the fact that it is still a bloaded and messy project with a handfull of good tracks.
Best track: Darkness
Worst track: Stepdad (the chorus is trash!)
Best feature: Juice WRLD or Royce da 5'9 -
Jan 24, 2020Just because a artist has raw skill does not mean they are capable of making a good project or song. This album has some of the worst bars I’ve ever heard and mediocre beats to go with them. Just cause fast word man is going fast does not mean he is saying anything that isn’t corny or stupid.
-
Jan 18, 2020More similar to Revival than Kamikaze. Sometimes it feels like he's trying too hard.
-
Jan 22, 2020More bland uninspired trying to hip on the new generations Eminem music. That Ed Sheeran track is the worst **** ive heard in a while
-
Jan 28, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020Em's gotta do something new, he keeps doing the same old with no real change or twist, plus all this stuff he's done much better in the past.
-
Jan 19, 2020Overall interesting concept with wild and unrelenting production, but overshadowed by the significant decline in vocal and lyrical quality Em has undergone since the 00s.
-
Jan 22, 2020Too long. No consistent theme or style. Pop features again. Cringy lines. Better than Revival but still bad.
-
Jan 22, 2020With some of the corniest bars in his discography, Eminem fails another attempt at trying to go back to his glory days. While some of the highs of the album are enjoyable and the production is better than his last two projects, the songwriting keeps taking a dive to the point where Eminem thinks rapping fast equals good writing.
Best song on the album: Darkness -
Jan 22, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020Average album at best, better than his last 2 which were horrible. If compared to earlier albums it is very bad but compared to his recent work it is an improvement
-
Jan 22, 2020Miles better than Revival. Still better than Kamikaze but a far cry away from a 10/10 record.
-
Jan 22, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020It has its moments of storytelling and super-zippy-fast-rapping, but it's filled with corny lines and bad hooks. A notch below Kamikaze.
-
Jan 23, 2020Mediocre, bad hooks, beats feel similar and it’s like people only like this album cause it’s Eminem not the quality of music, which is poor.
-
Jan 22, 2020Some good tracks, mixed with some very bad ones with corny bars, better than his last two however.

-
Jan 22, 2020eminem is back with some hot garbage. better than his last few, but not by much
-
Jan 22, 2020It’s pretty mediocre all things considered, a few standout tracks, but nothing we haven’t seen or heard before from Eminem and at this point it’s a bit redundant.
-
Jan 22, 2020Again very disappointed by yet again another bad Eminem album. He needs to retire at this point he just ruining his discography
-
Jan 22, 2020The user score is disproportionate to how good the actual album is. It's not very good, with a couple of good songs mixed in
-
Jan 23, 2020Corny lyrics by Eminem but production is fine and way too long with no memorable parts.

Jul 19, 2023Review só pra lembrar a nota que eu dei pro album:
album ruinzinho, agora só escrever pra passar dos 75 caracteres. -
Jan 17, 2020i get that he says controversial things on every album he released, but this time, i think we went too far. manchester attack was a tragedy. 22 died including a young girl age 7. this is so sad and not for entertainment. he did raise 2 million dollars for the victims, but that doesn’t help bringing lives back, and doesn’t mean he could said or mentioned about manchester like this.
-
Jan 17, 2020More of the same, he continues to make us sick with his meaningless lyrics and without a good story to tell. Singing fast and shade women is not a nice thing to do to get attention these days. Completely forgettable songs.
-
Jan 22, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020Beats are alright, overall boring and annoying lyrics other than Darkness. Better than Eminem’s last 2 albums but that’s not saying much
-
Jan 22, 2020Improvement from last two albums. But definitely did not see any replay value and didn’t excite or intrigue me. Felt like he got “outrapped” by Anderson Paak, and shared several corny bars.
-
Jan 22, 2020Stale. Em is a pioneer in rap but his style has grown stale, it’s been long played out since recovery
-
Jan 22, 2020yeah not his worst, but certainly not his best by any means. a lot of the lyrics are just something a teenager could write up
-
Jan 22, 2020
-
Jan 22, 2020This was a bit better than the two atrocities he put out the last couple of years but still very bad
-
Jan 22, 2020The album doesnt stick to its theme. Its long, way too long. Beats are not great, suit the features more than Em himself. Another dull, at times unlistenable album by Em
-
Jan 22, 2020Honestly just another washed up em album. He still uses the same technical rhyme schemes that sounds bad. He trys so hard to have a good flow but the lyrical content is lacking and he still says offensive and corny lines too often.
-

-
Jan 22, 2020Very pour and lazily done, it seems like Eminem will never break this creative slump
Awards & Rankings
-
Feb 11, 2020He clearly cares about his output, but “Music To Be Murdered By” is, unfortunately, another mixed bag of tricks, propped up by lyrical acrobatics and underwhelming production.
-
Jan 30, 2020If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.
-
Jan 27, 2020It is not, strictly speaking, a good record—Eminem hasn’t made one of those in a decade—but it boasts enough technical command and generates just enough arresting ideas to hold your attention.
