Here come the haters. Reading all the negative reviews people are saying the album is actually a 5/6 and some even a 7 but they are giving it a 0 to bring the score down. Obviously rating it incorrectly. Eminem fans are really happy with the album because for them Eminem delivered. Stans could have done the same thing for Revival, but they gave it a 6.

This hurts to say but i don't like this album. He has some decent to trash beats, he has horrible hooks and keeps his annoying stacatto fast flow that lost it's magic after the first few times he did it. His attitude is like a 50 year old man who keeps fighting young kids to get off his lawn. I get why he hates this new generation; his last album was him literally taking a **** on it; youThis hurts to say but i don't like this album. Eminem is in a corner with nothing to say, he has done it all, he rose to be the illest on the mic, he beat his demons, he survived the hard streets of Detroit and I'm not taking that away from him but he has nothing to say; All the clever wordplay an rhymes can't cover up that. I hope that with all the success he gets from this album dosen't bleed to his next one. Expand

I know all the Eminem fans are just spamming 10/10. Which is fake. However, despite wanting to give this a 0-1 just to compensate their fake reviews. I am still going to give it what i think it deserves a 4-5. Reasoning: Cons:
Corny lines in serious songs bother me. The beats were not my favorite. The hooks DID NOT do it for me. Also did not care about eminem’s love life nor did I expect

    Pros:
    He can rappity rap fast
Em is obviously skillful in placement of rhymes, lines and double entendres Pretty good features
I can feel his emotion in some tracks.
Overral not enough to save it, not a trash album, but nothing making it special.

After watching the "Darkness" video I didn't know what to expect but after picking my jaw from the floor and listening to the whole album I was pleased... really pleased.
Eminem went a long way from Revival(I dont hate it, some song I liked, other not so much), through Kamikaze which was very strong but a little bit raw album up to this jewel!
What hit me the most? BEATS. In my opinion from Revival to MUSIC TO BE MURDERED BY theres 10-15 step when it comes to beats and the sounds overall. It sounds, modern, energetic and HIP HOP.
Songs like Premonition, Godzilla, Unaccommodating or You Gon' Learn sound amazing and the other ones are pretty good to. What I really like is that Eminem sounds like He had a lot of fun making this album. Theres a lot of funny ad-libs and jokes, which i missed in last Eminem's albums.
Lirycs... It's Eminem! Top tier bars, clever doubles(Darkness is sick!) and a ton of punchlines. Great stuff. Absolutely briliant.
There's also few disses, powerfull but not as angry as on Kamikaze.
Hooks? Pretty good. Some landed hard(Godzilla, I Will, Darkness), some are good and 1-2 I wasn't biggest fan.
Features? AMAZING. Royce, Crook(his verse was nuts!), Joel, BT, Young Ma... I also liked Skylar Grey on the hook(powerful stuff!)
The whole theme of the album is great, especially for Alfred Hitchcock's fans. It has its own style.

Out of the 20 track album I only dislike one song. I would give it as complete album a 9.7. It is absolutely the best of his albums in the last decade .

Derivative. Boring. Borderline unlistenable at times. There are a couple songs that are alright at best, but for the most part, cringey.

The whole album is a freaking double entendre. When it comes to rap this guy never disappoints.

Amazing!! Never thought any Eminem album would surpass MMLP or The Eminem Show but Music To Be Murdered By has done it for me! From the first track I sat up and paid complete attention... shady is back and he is pissed!! Love it!!! Highlights for me are, Godzilla, Never Love Again,Darkness, Leaving Heaven and I Will.

This albums have songs like Lock it Up or the chorus of I Will which takes you back to Eminem and D12's style in Albums like Devil's night or D12 World

In a similar way as Rap God, the album also has songs where the speed and depth of the lyrics are both extremely good, such as Godzilla or Unaccommodating. You can also find songs that are more serious and that take you back, thanks

You can also find songs that are more serious and that take you back, thanks verses, chorus and style, to songs like Space Bound, Legacy or Beautiful, for example Darkness or Leaving Heaven.

Finally, it also has a bunch of songs that are serious, and with a bit of Slim Shady spitting 100 words per second.

This album in general has songs that have to be replayed at least 2 or 3 times to realize how good they are, in the end, that is how we all ended up knowing and loving songs like Lose Yourself, The Real Slim Shady or Without Me.

He clearly cares about his output, but “Music To Be Murdered By” is, unfortunately, another mixed bag of tricks, propped up by lyrical acrobatics and underwhelming production.

If they look hard enough, any artist could find criticism of their work online. That’s sort of the curse of the Information Age. But not everyone overreacts quite as much as Eminem does. But if his fears grow tiring, his lyrical ability can still give you something to admire, even if the album is somewhat uneven.

It is not, strictly speaking, a good record—Eminem hasn’t made one of those in a decade—but it boasts enough technical command and generates just enough arresting ideas to hold your attention.
