    This album is spectacular. A combination of reputation, lover, and 1989. Hints of Lorde’s “Melodrama” throughout. The production and craftsmanship of each song was perfected by the one and only Jack Antanoff. Lavender Haze, Anti-Hero, you’re on you’re own kid, bejeweled, and karma were fantastic. Midnights, similar to her other albums, are completely unique and display Taylor SwiftsThis album is spectacular. A combination of reputation, lover, and 1989.     Impeccable lyrics, infectious beats, and the cleverest wordplay. Somehow a service to fans and the general public alike. It’s her most personal record but also her most universal. An incredible listen all the way through.

    Tant attendu, cet album ne m’a pas déçue. En phase de devenir mon album préféré de Taylor que j’adore. Les chansons offrent différents moods, sont toutes différentes et pleins d’émotions. Big up à Karma et Anti Hero que j’adorent de tout mon cœur. Certaines dont je n’attendais rien m’ont définitivement surprise (dans le bon sens) et les “3 a.m. bonus tracks” sont toutes aussi entraînantesTant attendu, cet album ne m’a pas déçue.     Instrumentally there is nothing to discuss other than a basic drum machine, vocally there isn't many hooks or melodies to really draw you in. It's a very lyrically focused album, but unless you're already a Taylor Swift fan there isn't much to keep you around to really listen to those lyrics.

    Taylor Swift's worst offering yet.

    There are only two songs I have any recollection of after listening (Anti-Hero & Karma) and the rest are either unmemorable or sound the same (or both). The lyrics sound like she put her discography, some words she thought sounded nice, profanity, and some pop culture references into EI and this is what popped out. It's cringy and incoherent and she uses    Taylor Swift's worst offering yet.

There are many cringy lyrics such as "Karma is a cat purring in my lap" and "Sometimes I feel like everybody is a sexy baby and I'm a monster on the hill." One would hope these were cheeky songs, except she sounds like she is trying to be sensual. I'm not a Taylor-hater by nature either. I was a fan for the majority of her career but this is all the worst elements of her music put together and amplified. Listening to this album truly felt like she was trying to see if she could put out terrible music and still dominate the charts and have critical acclaim due to her name-powet.     Midnights is the perfect melancholy follow up to Taylor's 2014 album 1989. The maturing lyrics pull the album away from the repetative bubblegum pop becoming more popular in main stream music. While the album does rely heavily on synthetic sound, Taylor's vocals are clear, strong and mesmerizing. Once again Ms. Swift has proven herself to be a master story teller as she weaves not onlyMidnights is the perfect melancholy follow up to Taylor's 2014 album 1989. The maturing lyrics pull the album away from the repetative bubblegum pop becoming more popular in main stream music. While the album does rely heavily on synthetic sound, Taylor's vocals are clear, strong and mesmerizing. Once again Ms. Swift has proven herself to be a master story teller as she weaves not only words but worlds together. I would highly suggest pouring yourself a drink lying on the floor and allowing every emotion to wash over you as you navigate your way through what is clearly someone else's diary.     Claramente Taylor Swift compro sitios de criticas para que sus reviews sean perfectas a pesar de que MIDNIGHTS es un album aburrido y pretencioso que solo alaban las peluqueras de sus fans que se sienten especiales por escucharla, pero siendo realistas, es un album malo.
    Hay pocas canciones buenas, pero son tan olvidables que no las mencionare.

    While everyone was waiting to find out what genre the record is in, she missed us with this creation. This is her most experimental sound she has ever created. The lyrics are also edgy and crazy. This is undoubtedly among her greatest bodies of work to date. It's fortunate for us that we share a time period with her. The 3am edition is just great!

    Reputation feels so long ago, the last three albums have now solidified the fact that the new Taylor just can't compete with the old Taylor. Every song, except for what could be a Billie Elish cover, falls flat and tired. She needs some people that can say No to her in the studio, I feel all these song were bad ideas thar weren't rejected.

    Once again, Taylor Swift reinvents herself and take us to a journey of a pop-synth darky album, with a few bops and lots of creativity and lyrical cleverness. Every single track tell a story, and stories, well.. That's Taylor Swift's playground. An amazing album, definitely DESERVE your listen.

    By far the most horrific body of work she's done. It's like a bunch of rejects from "Lover" and none of the songs have interesting melodies or lyrics that don't center around Taylor. She's really a one-trick pony, and this album proves that. Folklore and Evermore were flukes, this is the real Taylor. A true narcissist.

Whoever's calling it dark and cryptic has lost their mind, this is literally what a 16-year-old would write after breaking up as they decide and alternate between the feelings of 'oh no my love is gone' and 'who cares, am a bad b!tch'. It genuinely sounds like a bunch of Lover and FolkloreAs much as I had wanted Midnights to be a genuine hit, it is literally a sad album in all its phases. Whoever's calling it dark and cryptic has lost their mind, this is literally what a 16-year-old would write after breaking up as they decide and alternate between the feelings of 'oh no my love is gone' and 'who cares, am a bad b!tch'. It genuinely sounds like a bunch of Lover and Folklore rejects put together just because Taylor hadn't put out an album in an entire year. The vocals on the deluxe 7 tracks are still fine but on the original album, they are just bad and rotten. As for lyrics, I had, with all my heart, soul, mind, believed that Taylor is THAT girl in songwriting, like just amazing in it, but some lyrics like:
    "Karma is a cat purring on my lap cause it likes me"
    "Somedays I feel like everybody's a sweet baby"
    "Spider Boy, King of thieves'
    It's such abysmal writing, I am honestly horrified.

    Lavender Haze and Snow On The Beach sound rather fine, but other than that the whole album is like a greatly anticipated movie's bad trailer only, it's like the Junglebook with the graphics of the Junglepeople. Every song seems to build on and on and on, but it never stops building to reach that climax. It can be a beautiful album, she had the chance, but except for the hype that Taylor Swift brings, I really don't think is a critical or commercial success, it's, to be straightforward, plain boring.    … Expand

    Unfortunately Midnights was very MID. I generally love Taylor’s music and really like all of her albums for the most part. I didn’t vibe too much with Evermore and was hoping this new album would sound better. This is overrated honestly and people will say it’s good just because it’s Taylor Swift. It is definitely not one of the better albums released this year and certainly can’t competeUnfortunately Midnights was very MID. I generally love Taylor’s music and really like all of her albums for the most part. I didn’t vibe too much with Evermore and was hoping this new album would sound better. This is overrated honestly and people will say it’s good just because it’s Taylor Swift. It is definitely not one of the better albums released this year and certainly can’t compete on the level of other albums recently released like Demi’s Holy Fvck which was severely underrated.     this album is a big no for me, I as a swiftie since 2012, feel that she has been declining in the quality of her new body of work. she is kind of becoming lazy to try to be good at writing new songs, she needs Jack to write good songs that are not pop. her last good album was Red, that is 10 years ago. she is very lost, maybe it is time for me to unstan her.

    Midnights is as confused as it is disjointed, it wants to be intimate and fierce but at no point does it feel like either. Instead this album feels bloated and like outtakes from previous albums. Taylor's voice is not showcased on this album nor is her usual coherent and highly competent writing. The album reaches its very short peaks with tracks like "You're on Your own Kid" and "Mastermind" the latter whose chorus is the strongest on the album, and the former feels more epic than its worth. This album is Taylor's first "post-pandemic" album and the production is much larger than her previous two albums Folklore and Evermore, but features none of the charm or lyrical wit of the previous two. Instead this album feels like a demo version of Reputation and Lover, while lacking any of the  merits those albums had.… Expand

    Taylor managed to outdo himself by releasing an album worse than the lover. at least in lover we have highs and lows, (more lows than highs) this one is just low, so monotonous & so basic that it could be a Selena Gómez album. Its time to stop thinking jack antonoff is a good producer, hes been making the same song for years

    I loved her latest albums (Folklore/Evermore) but this one sounds like a bunch of rejected songs that didn't make it to her best albums. Rushed and unfinished. Have 2-3 good songs but, in total, it's a mess.

    Elevator music composers, Android ringtone creators and Mrs Crocombe must be all very grateful that Taylor Swift used their samples so they can get some cash from her, but otherwise this is pretty much useless artifact of human activity.

    Looking for a reason for ppl like this album, overrated, overestimated, all the music sounds the same and during at listening this album I was confusing because I can't make a difference idea from worst to horrible feeling, she has better music but this one, no, it's horrible

    While her 10th album doesn’t make instant classic status like 1989, and Evermore and Folklore remain her masterpieces, it is still an understated, beguiling look into the mind of one of the biggest pop stars of our age.
