The vocals are improved, convey a wider range, and is used in ways that are different from previous albums (including more dissonance and vocoder). The melodies are always great, as usual.     Taylor tem se superado cada vez mais a cada lançamento, e com midnights não foi diferente. Faixas como Maroon, Snow on the Beach e Labyrinth foram na minha opinião as melhores do álbum, e a escolha de Anti-Hero como single com toda certeza foi uma das melhores já feita. Uma verdadeira obra de arte !

    Even though the album seems like something we all heard before, the lyrics are a standout. She perfectly joins good synthpop beat with high-level lyrics as seen on Folklore and Evermore. The album seems even more complete with the 3AM edition bonus tracks. She'll have a long career... Even if you don't like her.

    A beautifully made masterpiece. Taylor Swift never disappoints. Every single track is magnificent. No skips that's for sure.

    This album displays Taylor's versatility and genius. Sonically cohesive with heartfelt lyrics. It displays vulnerability and self awareness. This is an instant classic and the commercial success of this album will prove it!

    Although I'm quite ambivalent about the whole miss Swift's persona, especially since her foray into politics (her silence on the subject was merciful, and by no means "deafening"). Still, she's a very fine songwriter, with some memorable lyrics and decent melodies.     While her 10th album doesn’t make instant classic status like 1989, and Evermore and Folklore remain her masterpieces, it is still an understated, beguiling look into the mind of one of the biggest pop stars of our age.
