May 22, 2026You cannot deny that these records – ‘Iceman’, in particular – are some of Drake’s strongest work in a while. The trilogy doesn’t restore Drake’s invincibility, but beneath the spectacle and the streaming bait is an ageing superstar still stubbornly clinging onto his crown with both fists.

May 22, 2026“Road Trips” and “Cheetah Print” have a fun Nina Sky bounce, and “Outside Tweaking” and “True Bestie” take cool hard-cut production turns. But if this is supposed to be his horny-devil dance-floor album, he’s still limply phoning it in about his woes with OnlyFans models.

May 21, 2026It all flows together like a DJ set without the tonal whiplash of a 32-bar revenge fantasy about sliding on his opps like the lot of “Iceman.” Its self-containedness is a charm, even though some of these tracks could have fared better by replacing some of the lesser tracks on the back half of “Iceman.” Still, even though it’s one of three albums he dropped in a single night, “Maid of Honour” stands as, ironically, a testament to the virtue of restraint.
