    This may be her most cohesive album by now. While it might seem a mess at first glance, it's tough to tie a record with such grace. We see development on her character, specially on the first half on the album. It's her, Lana Del Rey, in songs like "Cherry" or "13 Beaches". First 8 tracks are what many fans where waiting for such a long time: Strong instrumentation with a mix of sorrow andThis may be her most cohesive album by now. It's her, Lana Del Rey, in songs like "Cherry" or "13 Beaches". Then there's the second half, where Elizabeth Woolridge Grant shows herself and all the concerns and actual worries she has. "Heroin" is the most vulnerable, honest song on the album. Vocals are on point on tracks "Tomorrow Never Came", "God Bless America - And All the Beautiful Women In It" or "When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing". This is why this album it's so special. Her songs are always perfect, and this album isn't different. Thanks Elizabeth, for another masterpiece.     While not as cohesive or focused as Honeymoon, Lust for Life is a very good album. The singles are all quality songs, but my favorites are among those that have yet to be released in that capacity. "When the World Was at War We Kept Dancing", "White Mustang", "Cherry", and "13 Beaches" are all among some of the best work she's done throughout her career.     Once the second half of the album kicks in, Lana Del Rey introduced to the world a brand new side to her persona, with political tracks and several nods to her past work. Judging by tracks such as "When The World Was at War We Kept Dancing" and "Get Free", it's not difficult to say that this album might hold her best vocal delivery to date, and tracks like "Heroin" and "Tomorrow Never Came" might go down in history as two of the best lyrical works by Del Rey.     Lanita una de mis mejores artistas y si no pues la mejor, desde hace tiempo esperaba su nuevo album, lo escuche apenas y hmm impresionado las mejores canciones que me gustaron fueron Love y Cherry lo mejor de Lanita, aparte de sus otros albums

Bueno comencemos, Lana del Rey para mi ah sido una figura musical muy bonita ya que la letra que transmite en sus canciones es muy buena, aparte de que ella la escucho desde que tenia 10 años y estos 7 años largos no me eh despegado de ella, pero ahora de su nuevo album ah sido de los mas esperados en estos tiempos y con sus buenas colaboraciones, la verdad me encanto mucho la cancion de Lust For Life y Love las primeras que escuche y me encantaron mucho, Lanita tu sigue cosechando exitos veras que en un futuro estaras en la sima en este genero y si no ser es que ya estas. :)… Expand

    Lana is truly the voice of our generation. Everything she's writing about on this record my generation can relate to. Love, heartbreak, the uncertainty and the fear of both the present and the future of our country. This is one of those records I'll be playing for years and never getting tired of.

    This would be Lana's best album if it wasn't for the lack of cohesion, the length of the tracklist and some of Lana's questionable decisions, especially when it comes to the sound. The really ugly trap beats on Summer Bummer and Coachella really stick out to me, but once the latter ends the album transition into what I think is the best string of songs on a Lana album ever. From the beautiful guitar on God Bless America, to the atmospheric Heroin and beautifully haunting Change. The album culminates with what is one of the best song Lana has ever written, Get Free. The Creep influenced verses lead to a gorgeous chorus that could have been on Born To Die but whit a much fitting production. The collaborations with Sean Lennon and Stevie Nicks are also highlights for me. Both come together really beautifully and fit perfectly into the tracklist.

    Lust for Life is also Lana's most conceptual album, where she continually talks about a change that's coming, the end of an era or more so, a beginning, and also a change in herself. She is no longer the submissive sad girl that she was in her previous albums. She's still Lana, but she wants to make her own decisions, play her own game and live her own life.

    I don't think I've ever been this invested in what Lana had to say before. If she keeps walking down this path she could very well make her best album yet. I hope in the future she stays away from trendy production gimmicks and tries to keep her sound as authentic and organic as possible.    … Expand

    lana shows that she really is the queen of dreamy-indie-pop, there's no actual artist that could sound like her, lust for life is such an fresh album and also keeps lana's vibe on point, she's romantic, but aware of political matters, showing a feminist side that she didn't mind showing before, she's growing, getting mature, and that reflects perfectly on her music.

    Lana and hip-hop go together like Oreos and milk. A$AP Rocky, Playboi Carti, The Weeknd, Stevie Nicks and Sean Ono Lennon each bring a piece of their vision into Lana's album to create a masterpiece. Summer Bummer, Love, and Lust for Life are definite standout singles.

    Lust for life is my most favorite album of Lana. In this album, I sense a **** grown woman's real desires and point of view. She encounters all hardships and turns them in to melodic rhythmic poems. She thinks about America, the love, the lust, the falls. This review is messy, so I'd better finish it here.

The topic: LOVE. Love to friends, to a special person, to your nation, and self love. Same sentiment, different receptors. OldLana is back and greater. Despite being one of my favorite artists, I used to think she was monotonous due to her using similar topics for all her past albums (dicks, drugs), BUT this album has a different and very refreshing style for The Princess of Alternative.     Escuché el álbum completo y puedo decir que es uno de los mejores de este año, la producción y como cada canción fue escrito es de otro mundo, al escuchar este álbum te pierdes y en los diferentes temas y la voz de Lana Del Rey es de en sueño y te hace adicto a ella. No puedo estar mas contento con un trabajo musical tan perfecto como este.

    La selección de canciones es excelente aunque me hubiera gustado escuchar Yosemite y las demás canciones que, en su momento, Lana había comentado que estarían en el álbum.
    Me encanta que el álbum sea tan variado en el sentido de que hay canciones tanto para reflexionar como para divertirse. Lana no pierde su toque    En mi opinión es el mejor álbum que ella haya creado desde Born To Die.

    Se avaliarmos bem, pela perspectiva de ouvinte, Lana está nos servindo uma vasta opção em seu menu fonográfico, e mais uma vez tem sido mal interpretada pelos mesmo veículos especializados que nunca mediu esforços para menosprezar tudo que ela lança (especialmente o The Telegraph).

    Sin embargo, no se deja perder entre las líricas ya conocidas de Lana, lo cual se agradece; creo que se debe dar gracias a la señorita Grant por no perder su esencia peculiar;lo cual se puede lograr ver en Cherry, White Mustang, 13 beaches, etc.

    The optimism of Lust For Life is a pleasant surprise, though the album is still painted in the same shades as Del Rey’s previous releases. At times it’s some of her best material, but it seems like a record best experienced in pieces than as a proper whole.
