    This is an overrated album which does better in the concepts.It is true that American need an album to call on "lust for life" in this desperated world.But it is also true that the songs in the last half record are totally not out-standing as much as the lead single"love".The lyrics are boring and full of windy slogans.

    This album would have received a 9 or a 10 from me had the collabs of "Summer Bummer" and "Groupie Love" been solo tracks.

    I very much love "Get Free," "Heroin," "Change," "Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems," "White Mustang," "Cherry," "13 Beaches," and "Lust for Life."

    Lust for Life is a masterpiece of an album. Every song is at least pretty good; most songs are near perfect. I don't buy albums very often, but i bought this, and I'm glad i did.

She takes risks like Summer Bummer by heading to a more hip hop leaning song, but she still remains to be the same Lana we all come to love like Groupie Love, God Bless America, When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing, and Get Free. We even get a little folky with Tomorrow Never Came. The only downside is White MustangAs a long time Lana fan, this is one of Lana's best piece of work. She takes risks like Summer Bummer by heading to a more hip hop leaning song, but she still remains to be the same Lana we all come to love like Groupie Love, God Bless America, When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing, and Get Free.     I immediately fell in love with god Lana when I first heard this amazing album. This album gave me hope in a wonderful world with "When The World Was At War We Kept Dancing" and "Get Free". One of the best album in this century.

    Lana did it again! An ethereal album with amazing collaborations. This is a more mature and wiser side of Lana.

    I love Get Free (great way to end the album), Groupie Love, 13 beaches some of the highlights.

O álbum é aberto por uma vibe mais “peace and love” até então desconhecida pela cantora, e isso se reflete até a última música. Eu diria que o álbum é mais do mesmo, mas as letras de Lana não permitem dizer isso. O álbum tem músicas excelentes em sonoridade e letras, comoLana Del Rey embarcou em um projeto lindo sonoricamente que é ainda superior ao seu trabalho no cansativo “Honeymoon”. O álbum é aberto por uma vibe mais “peace and love” até então desconhecida pela cantora, e isso se reflete até a última música. Eu diria que o álbum é mais do mesmo, mas as letras de Lana não permitem dizer isso. O álbum tem músicas excelentes em sonoridade e letras, como a própria “Lust For Life”, “13 Beaches”, e até mesmo “Summer Bummer”, a última no caso embarcou um estilo que eu adoraria ver Lana fazendo de novo, o dark-trap, que combina muito bem com seu estilo. Outras músicas que fazem você viajar com a sonoridade é “White Mustang” com sua letra exótica, e “Get Free”, um grito da cantora, uma canção de exílio, um anúncio bem vindo de uma nova era pra cantora.     I want to first admit that I did not have high hopes for this album. While I appreciated the lead single Lust for Life, I was not a fan of the lyrics (I thought they were too simplistic). It didn't have the wordplay and sophistication I expected of a Lana Del Rey song. Love, Choachella, Summer Bummer, and Groupie Love all sounded a little better and showed glimpses of the Lana Del Rey II want to first admit that I did not have high hopes for this album. While I appreciated the lead single Lust for Life, I was not a fan of the lyrics (I thought they were too simplistic). It didn't have the wordplay and sophistication I expected of a Lana Del Rey song. Love, Choachella, Summer Bummer, and Groupie Love all sounded a little better and showed glimpses of the Lana Del Rey I fell in love with nearly six years ago.
    Then today came, and this album was better than I could have expected. It's difficult to explain the emotional journey one goes through when listening to a Lana Del Rey album. I felt that each song, one after the other, was the exact song I needed after the last. From the mellow 13 Beaches, to the surprisingly profane Cherry, and eased out of that by White Mustang.
    I'm supposed to be working, but instead, I'm writing this review, because I feel so strongly about this album. Nothing compares to how Lana Del Rey explores themes of naivete, of loss, of being lost, hopelessness, of hope, of apathy, then of passion, but most of all, of love. It is evident this album is a product of the artist's love for her fans and for her music.
    I'm not expecting accolades or Grammy awards for this album (for the internal politics and hierarchies in the music industry), but without a doubt, this is the year's best album.    … Expand

And I don't think Lana knew. The first listening I was so blind by the hype that I didn't realize how long this album actually is, but now I do. Songs such as "Coachella" and "In My Feelings" for me are totallyLust for Life has too many songs. Well, I'm not against albums with 14 songs or more, but if you're gonna make an album like this, you have to know exactly what you're doing. And I don't think Lana knew. The first listening I was so blind by the hype that I didn't realize how long this album actually is, but now I do. Songs such as "Coachella" and "In My Feelings" for me are totally fillers. Like, the 7 first songs blend well, the last 3 songs blend well, but the songs between 7 and 3 are ????????????. And If we pretend they're not there, the album gets messier. I was interested to hear how she's trying to overcome her negativity and all. The first half was good and I was hooked until Coachella tbh. When Coachella and the rest of songs about unity start, I lost interest in the album. I know that it's good because she's really speaking about something that matters, but as I said earlier I was expecting about how she's trying to gain her lust for life again. But then the last 2 songs (Change and Get Free) really touched my heart. The lyrics show the mature side of her and her really trying to face the reality. A really good album conclusion and closer.… Expand

    Lana del Rey continues to do more of the same, perhaps in this album introduced rap and trap, but I don't see any musical evolution or take a risk in its sound, rescue "Groupie Love."

    It's a good album in a similar climate to the previous one but with more interesting variety. The atmosphere is lighter and the songs are catchy. Although after this album I would like something less nostalgic and less American idyll.

    What I love about Lana Del Rey is that she's never afraid to try something new and take her music in a different direction. Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and now Lust for Life were all not what I was expecting, but each of these albums have grown on me in time. Lust for Life is a bit more pop-oriented, like Born to Die, but it's also her most stylistically diverse album. Lana seems confident,What I love about Lana Del Rey is that she's never afraid to try something new and take her music in a different direction. Ultraviolence, Honeymoon, and now Lust for Life were all not what I was expecting, but each of these albums have grown on me in time. Lust for Life is a bit more pop-oriented, like Born to Die, but it's also her most stylistically diverse album. Lana seems confident, in control, and like she's having the most fun of her career. The album is a bit long and I'd be fine with cutting a few of the tracks, but overall it's a really satisfying album that's great to listen to all the way through.

    Personally, I think this is Lana's best album. It's the most diverse thing she's ever done, incorporating genres like Trap, Hip-Hop, Pop, and of course the psychedelic sounds that all her records have had. It's a big enough change in her music to wow new fans and give them a good listen without alienating the old ones.

The songs with featured artists also work really well (especially Beautiful People, Beautiful Problems ft. Stevie Nicks).     In the midst of an attempt to create gracious, flowing, and nourishing music, there was always a repulsive and insulting four-chord progression that strangled the listener, and pairing that with uninteresting synthesizers, a simple drum machine, and rudimentary string parts capped off a failure to match abstract ideas with quality creation.     Lust for life de Lana del rey es una genial obra, es como una montaña rusa. Inicias subiendo y de repente a mitad del disco das un bajón para finalmente subir al final del disco. Abarcando temas políticos, este álbum es uno de los mejores de su carrera. Un buen sucesor del mejor disco de Del Rey, Ultraviolence.

The sound is still gorgeous, with an excellent production and the same touching voice that characterizes Del Rey's work.     The optimism of Lust For Life is a pleasant surprise, though the album is still painted in the same shades as Del Rey’s previous releases. At times it’s some of her best material, but it seems like a record best experienced in pieces than as a proper whole.
