Another amazing album by Taylor Swift that takes you to 18 song journey along with a lot of emotions especially falling in love. You can definitely find yourself in a happy relationship in this album even tough you are not in. Lover makes you feel like watching sunrise while reputation is midnight. As Swift says, step into the daylight and let it go.

This album shows the other side of Taylor Swift that everyone wants to see for a very long time. It encompasses different type of songs in terms of who it is about. I love how diverse the album is. Sad songs and happy songs. Songs about being in love and songs about heartbreak!

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Expand

There's no skip. It deserves so much attention. Taylor's songwriting showed yet another level. She's a good singer-songwriter but the maturity of her writings now is a 100% growth in a very positive way.

Taylor’s creative genius sparkles with golden daylight in this compilation of love songs. The complexity of love, in all its color splash, surpasses other love songs of her generation. Lover is the album you go to in your darkest of times and in your happiest of times. From False god to it's nice to have a friend every song has a unique tone that forces you to dance along. Undoubtedly Taylor swift best album after all it's the first one she actually owns.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Taylor swift is a song writer before a singer. The album has few self written masterpieces. She has put social connotations in anthems like You need to calm down, The man and Prince Americana and the heartbreak prince. She has ventured into the classic Swift vulnerability which her past has tinged with an uncanny toxicity best described in afterglow and the archer . The album is the perfect blend of pop/indie vibe. Its mainstream yet its offstream. The Red storytelling makes a return debit in this albums in songs like Cornelia street and cruel summer. This is taylor at her strongest narrative even stronger than Reputation. The album ends perfectly with daylight. The album could be seen by some having filler tracks like its nice to have a friend but even though its a filler(as said by some) its stronger than most pop songs charting right now. So tis album id a certified masterpiece not to impress the ears right away but for the soul to find homage when its alone and secluded. Expand

Truly disappointed. Taylor refuses to grow up, this is like a worse version of the same thing we’ve heard over and over again. Taylor is not creative nor original. Yuck.

I usually don’t give any reviews but hearing the body of work Taylor has put out feel safe like escaping from all the negativity. The album has a beautiful storyline and the production is amazing. This isn’t probably my favorite T-Swizzle album so far.

It’s an album that screams out for an editor, but when it hits the right notes, it demonstrates just why Taylor Swift is one of the biggest pop stars in the world.

Ultimately, Lover is overstuffed and meandering, but serves as a positive reprieve from her past struggles in the public eye, and represents an artist at the peak of her creativity, power, and—one hopes—continued romantic bliss.

Lover is a fabulous record, full of super-fun standout pop hits that make your heart burst. It oozes with Swift’s much more palatable upbeat sass. She’s in love and also thinking about different kinds of love.
