At first I felt that some songs such as Lover or The Archer wasn't as good as I expected but I definitely changed my opinion on them after listening to them more times. All the songs on the album are good. This is the first album you OWN, and I'm so happy about that. I cannot wait for you to re-record the other albums.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i have been listening to this album since its release and have came to this shocking(for me atleast) conclusion that lover has dethroned RED as my favourite TS album. i love 1989 and REP so much as well but RED has a very special place in my heart and for year i never thought that it can be dethroned. we all have different perspectives to see things and have different opinions. sometimes you cannot explain why you that certain thing so much.we are not built the same and we are allowed to have different opinions. lover is a dreamy masterpiece. the production is elite but the best part is the lyrics. she is undoubtedly the greatest song writer of this generation. people have different opinions and that’s acceptable but if you’re hating on this album because of that image that media has painted of her then honey that’s your lose. judging an album without giving it a proper listen is such an idiotic thing to do i mean okay so ME is not your cup of tea that doesn’t mean all the other songs in that album are just like that l. taylor is the most versatile artist tbh, i mean, you need to come down ? the man? daylight? it's nice to have a friend ? and paper rings? she really did that man! like all the song deserve to be in the god tier
    . there is no **** tier. period. even the time when i was not her fan but i always have admired her songwriting but this album really has made me a full time taylor stan. it"s so great to see that tay used to write fantasy love songs and now she is writing fantasy break up songs. the glow up! we stan. i respect all the other artist and as tay said " we all got crowns" and they all are doing amazing but tbh when it's come to songwriting, nobody compares to her. i'm just so glad to see her being genuinely happy. she deserves every single achievment of her career. imagine wining a AOTY at 20. being called the best song writer of the century at 21. have 4 album debuted with over 1m pure sales. have over 970m your gross as a solo. and to talk about this era, even taylor did so much great than the other artist and the antis have no album that they can compare taylor to so theyare dragging her and comparing this album to her previous ones. but they purposefully ignore the facts that this is her shortest break between albums. artists don't sell even sell 885k anymore. 885k first week is great in general. i don't get it tbh she gets more hate than chris brown ever got andhe phisically assaulted rihanna in 09 and was sued for raping a girl in 2k17. and the fact that kanye west was 37 yearsold when he made his entire crowd chant " fuxk taylor swift" ang fake woke stans were okay with that. they just hate her for what?... have many past lovers? dominating the charts? i mean dafuq.and if taylor despises a man that's tried several times to tear her down is childish?? what's ypur logic man?

    Brilliant. I think this album reflects Swift's grow in thirteen years of work, it is the perfect combination of Speak Now's lyrics and 1989's production. Every single song is amazing, I am so proud of her and it was worth the wait. I Think He Knows and False God are my favourite tracks, Cruel Summer, The Man and Paper Rings are single material. I'm so happy with this album!!

It explores the more negative feelings of being in love: fear of them leaving, having to fix things after you hurt them, and letting yourself fall in love even though you are scared to death of the potential heartbreak. It’s hard to let yourself be happy with someone after all you’ve known is loving too deeply and getting hurt. She alsoThe album is a tribute to everything Taylor Swift. It explores the more negative feelings of being in love: fear of them leaving, having to fix things after you hurt them, and letting yourself fall in love even though you are scared to death of the potential heartbreak. It’s hard to let yourself be happy with someone after all you’ve known is loving too deeply and getting hurt. She also dabbles in topics like the double standards set for women, and the pain of going through someone you love being sick. My favorite songs on the album are Death By A Thousand Cuts, False God, Cruel Summer, I Think He Knows, Cornelia Street, and The Man. I had to listen to this album multiple times to really absorb what she was trying to portray through her lyrics and production. And I think that’s okay. I like digging deep into an album and studying it. I suggest listening with some high quality headphones because it is truly a completely different experience.
