    I'm a Taylor Swift fan. Lover, Cruel Summer, Death by a Thousand Cuts & Afterglow are my top choices. The rest are not as strong as these mentions but they're also great.

    The best album by far! Out of 18 tracks, at least 15 are very satisfying. Each track have some quality that makes it different from the others yet sound as good when compared together.

    This album is truly a wondrous concoction of love in all its complexity and chaos (in the words of Taylor Swift). We have both light and heavy subject matters showcased in the songs presented in this album, and she once again displays her diversity in speaking out in different topics though veiled in metaphors and symbols that perhaps others may not pick up on or understand. I love Cruel Summer for its exquisite production and how the lyrics portray a story that highlights the internal struggle of liking someone you cannot have so fantastically. The Man, for the lyrics that most women can echo and resonate with, and Taylor Swift is definitely qualified to speak on this as she has been subjected to, as she has said, the different vocabulary given to men and women in any industry. Soon You’ll Get Better is heart-wrenchingly raw. Daylight draws parallels from her previous albums and incorporates the lessons she has learned in a touching melody. All in all, her songwriting in this one completely stabs your heart into a million pieces with one song then glues it back together again with another.     This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. i have been listening to this album since its release and have came to this shocking(for me atleast) conclusion that lover has dethroned RED as my favourite TS album. i love 1989 and REP so much as well but RED has a very special place in my heart and for year i never thought that it can be dethroned. we all have different perspectives to see things and have different opinions. sometimes you cannot explain why you that certain thing so much.we are not built the same and we are allowed to have different opinions. lover is a dreamy masterpiece. the production is elite but the best part is the lyrics. she is undoubtedly the greatest song writer of this generation. people have different opinions and that’s acceptable but if you’re hating on this album because of that image that media has painted of her then honey that’s your lose. judging an album without giving it a proper listen is such an idiotic thing to do i mean okay so ME is not your cup of tea that doesn’t mean all the other songs in that album are just like that l. taylor is the most versatile artist tbh, i mean, you need to come down ? the man? daylight? it's nice to have a friend ? and paper rings? she really did that man! like all the song deserve to be in the god tier

    Lover is a beautiful album, filled with emotion and heart. It is Taylor’s best work thus far (in my opinion). You can truly feel how she was feeling in each song, from Lover, to Death By A Thousand Cuts, to Soon You’ll Get Better. I smiled, I cried, my heart broke, and I felt hopeful listening to this album for the first time and every time after. This album is truly a masterpiece.

    The album is a tribute to everything Taylor Swift. It explores the more negative feelings of being in love: fear of them leaving, having to fix things after you hurt them, and letting yourself fall in love even though you are scared to death of the potential heartbreak. It’s hard to let yourself be happy with someone after all you’ve known is loving too deeply and getting hurt. She alsoThe album is a tribute to everything Taylor Swift. It explores the more negative feelings of being in love: fear of them leaving, having to fix things after you hurt them, and letting yourself fall in love even though you are scared to death of the potential heartbreak. It’s hard to let yourself be happy with someone after all you’ve known is loving too deeply and getting hurt. She also dabbles in topics like the double standards set for women, and the pain of going through someone you love being sick. My favorite songs on the album are Death By A Thousand Cuts, False God, Cruel Summer, I Think He Knows, Cornelia Street, and The Man. I had to listen to this album multiple times to really absorb what she was trying to portray through her lyrics and production. And I think that’s okay. I like digging deep into an album and studying it. I suggest listening with some high quality headphones because it is truly a completely different experience.     There are no words for how much I love this album. The lyrics, the vocals, the production. There is no one out there that can do what she does, Time & time again. There is something for everyone on this album, it’s so diverse & interesting. I’m forever in awe of this woman.     Lover is what would happen if 1989 aged like fine wine for years. It’s mature, honest, catchy, and innovative. The production hasn’t been this good since 1989, and it’s definitely the best production yet. Some must listens are Cruel Summer, False God, Afterglow, Miss Americana and the Heartbreak Prince, and The Man. How will she top this? All we know is that Miss Swift ALWAYS delivers.

    This album is INCREDIBLE. Every song is so beautifully written, and most of them she wrote by herself. That’s what I call talent. From the upbeat melodies of Cruel Summer to the eerie chorus of It’s Nice To Have A Friend, to the Nostalgic yet beautiful lyrics and ethereal echoes of Daylight. Obsessed
