It’s unfortunate that Last Night draws rather so heavily on material from 2016’s Boy King, the first Wild Beasts album on which memorable moments were in short supply. It all adds up to a slightly anticlimactic exit for a great band.

It’s a burly collection, with the band’s flanged guitars and proggy synths asserting their refusal to follow any set style, and Hayden Thorpe’s bristling vocals similarly stretching indie constraints; but when the only “new” track is jerry-rigged together from two old tracks, it all seems a bit unnecessary.

Only on "Hooting And Howling" and "All The Kings' Men" do you catch the sharp, hot stink of their once feral presence. [Mar 2018, p.35]

Ótimo! Uma passagem por quase todas as fases da banda de forma maestral e bem executada. Wild Beasts é excelente seja ao vivo ou em estúdio.

Neither a live album nor a greatest hits album in a true sense yet both simultaneously for Wild Beasts. I have to say I could never countNeither a live album nor a greatest hits album in a true sense yet both simultaneously for Wild Beasts. I have to say I could never count myself as a big fan of the band. They once played a gig in my hometown and I didn't bother going despite being familiar with their "Smother" album. This is something I now regret having listened to "Last Night All My Dreams Came Through". This is a band with seriously interesting songs playing them in an incredibly comfortable environment which leads to a confident, slick yet organic feel. Guitars, synths, vocals and rhythm section are all doing something you don't hear every day. I'm not sure this album will push me to check out their back catalog extensively but I do really like it and gladly shelled out cash for it. Full Review »
