Kindred can be a decent listen. Depending on the mood you're in, of course. Do you have the need for some bright, popping instrumentation shadowing falsetto-style vocals? This is probably for you. But that's not really what I'm after. The good tracks are good - especially "Looks Like Rain" - but a lot of the rest of it was lacking. Kindred is fun, but best in small, sugary doses. [No. 120, p.59]

One to be enjoyed in small doses. [Jun 2015, p.110]
  3. Even if there's still a sneaking suspicion Angelakos used up his very best tunes on 2008 debut EP 'Chunk Of Change', this dewy-eyed record sweeps you up in its joie de vivre all the same.
