The songs don’t feel sincere. I’m waiting for the growth, and while it’s better than his last, this still feels like a backslide. It doesn’t seem like he’s enjoying making music, and it shows in this lackluster effort.

This album is defiantly better than Changes. However, this album wasn’t much of an improvement. I just don’t think R&B pop suits him. Pure mediocrity seems to be what Justin does best.
But the fact he clipped MLK’s justice speech to sound like his name is not okay. The entire “theme” of “justice” in the album all about his wife is incredibly performative.

Justin bieber failed me with this album. Why is the album titled Justice when the album has nothing to do with injustice in so society! Not to mention, he keeps profiting off black culture like MLK for personal gain. This album is trash, there I said it.

One thing that definitely bugs me is a WHITE man is profiting off of the civil rights movement which is weird yet his new album doesn’t speak on topics of social justice like what was the reason for incorporating the MLK speech interlude but this album is completely about his relationships instead Expand

I guess he's found his "sound" moving away from the R&B with the constant bragging to more pop sounds. Yet it begs to be generic and engouled with filler pop. With meaningless to some lyrics with not much analysis... there is not much to say about this album. Is this his peak?

It's better than changes, but still very repetitive. I'd give it a 5 but I can not believe he thought it appropriate to put an MLK speach in the middle of an album 70% about his wife's hooha. 9 features carry this album. Peaches is good and Lonely might be the best song he's made

The upshot is that Justice is one of Bieber's steadiest releases, among the easiest to play from start to finish. The only overdone aspect is the low self-esteem and unworthiness the lyrics either suggest or flatly express in almost every song.

With 16 tracks in a wide variety of styles and moods, Bieber’s centerless sixth studio album is noisy and grab-baggy in a way that once was typical for him (and other major pop acts) yet now registers as shallow and unsatisfying.
  3. Mar 23, 2021

His voice has a palatable smoothness; he’s mastered push-and-pull dynamics, and he swings effortlessly from a placid chest voice to a zephyr of a falsetto. That litheness and control are on full display across Justice. Even when the songwriting is spiritless and the production rote—and it occasionally is, as on the confessional “Unstable” and the saccharine “Deserve You”—he still sings the hell out of it.
