    Jack In The Box is surely an unexpected turn of event, a surprise definitely. We get to see what JHope of BTS can be as a solo artist, while still being the the JHope of BTS. Tearing away from his sunshine personality, Jung Hoseok has shown his potential to rise in the denser side of music. As much as it is intriguing, it is also a no skip playlist, especially, for avid listeners ofJack In The Box is surely an unexpected turn of event, a surprise definitely. We get to see what JHope of BTS can be as a solo artist, while still being the the JHope of BTS. Tearing away from his sunshine personality, Jung Hoseok has shown his potential to rise in the denser side of music. As much as it is intriguing, it is also a no skip playlist, especially, for avid listeners of hip-hop genre. Its a beautiful collection of personal feelings over the years as BTS's JHope, self-endurance, self-discipline, is what i believe is the key factor of Jack In The Box album.     I connected with Hobi because of his music and this album was so beautiful. He poured his soul and heart in every song and I loved it and will love it always. JHope is fireeeeeeeee ☀️☀️☀️☀️☀️

    J-hope once again proved that he is indeed a versetile artist. He dance, he rap, he writes lyrics, he produced! He's an overall ace! This album portrays his range as musician and he absolutely 101% delivered!

    Desde que llegó Jack in the Box, no he parado de disfrutar cada canción que pertenece a este maravilloso álbum, es una majestuosidad en todo el significado de la palabra. J- Hope es un artista tan real y con talento de sobra.

    Este álbum mostra um lado totalmente diferente do que estamos acostumados a ver e é simplesmente encantador, uma música melhor que a outra, estou totalmente apaixonada. Mais uma vez deixando army's orgulhosas.

    The past reviews calling j-hope names is some of the most childish stuff I've seen in record reviews. The album is good with a 90s grunge and rap vibe. He samples ODB (most of the reviewers are to young to know who that is) on What if. More and Arson are definitely the stand out hits, but Equal Sign and Safety Zone show off his lyricism.     This man again proved that he is a versatile artist not like other typical K-pop artist, i've had listened to other K-pop artist as well but majority of their lyrics doesn’t even make sense and Heavy with autotune, This album is the perfection itself, an work of art..It's very refreshing to see something different which is beyond K-pop

    amazing album - jhope experimented with a completely new sound from his first mixtape and took on difficult topics for this album. The album tells a cohesive story from start to finish full of self-reflection and self-awareness. The lyrics show a mature, multifaceted artist and his different rap flows show he isn’t afraid to experiment with new styles.

    While most songs are shorter than    amazing album - jhope experimented with a completely new sound from his first mixtape and took on difficult topics for this album. The album tells a cohesive story from start to finish full of self-reflection and self-awareness. The lyrics show a mature, multifaceted artist and his different rap flows show he isn’t afraid to experiment with new styles.

    While most songs are shorter than typical, I feel it doesn’t detract from the album (though selfishly I do wish some were longer as I enjoy them a lot). It almost gives the album a sort of ‘stream of consciousness’ feel - rather than a set of songs meant for mass streaming, which I feel is fitting considering the topics he explores. Despite some content being about the flaws of society, it doesn’t come off as preachy/empty. He acknowledges and reflects on his own person, showing a sense of vulnerability and accountability that is hard to find these days.

    What an amazing album! I discovered him through Lollapalooza and I didnt expected to like a korean rapper at all. The storytelling in the album is great and the beats are really good. I never heard something like MORE before.

    It's a great album. The vibe is very different from what we already knew from Hobi, but it is still a genius
    I couldn't say there's anything wrong there, just the short duration :(

    Excelente álbum, tiene una muy buena mezcla de sonidos, se valora en demasía el compromiso y la entrega del artista hoy en día son pocos los cantantes que componen y escriben su propia música eso le da un gran valor añadido a su trabajo

    Whether the music on Jack in the Box suits your taste or not, it’s hard to dismiss this album as an artistic statement rather than just chapter 1/7 of BTS proving they can also make money in ways beyond official group releases.

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
