    A friend sent me a digital of his album and i must say, its fantastic! The pandoras box segment was refreshing. There are tracks that make me wanna bang my head in beat, and there are those which make me sway and sing eventhough i dont know a single korean to save my soul. Jhope is an amazing artists to be sure.

    If a person who doesn't know j-hope allows himself to listen to this album carefully like reading the lyrics and watching the music videos y'know? I'm sure he will notice the grandeur and artistry behind the artist.

    JITB is a phenomenal and seamless piece of story telling through music. The nature of each track on the album to take you through a defining picture of J-Hope's feelings, emotions, and experiences relating to his artistry and 10 year old career is refreshing. It is impossible to listen to this album on shuffle due to this storytelling method. Not many artists can put together an album this cohesive, with song after song blowing your mind away with not only production quality and musicality but the raw, deep lyrics that show us a side of J-Hope we seldom see. My favourite part of the album is the safety zone - future - arson run towards the end of Jack In The Box. Just the way an actual jack in the box draws you into a false sense of security with the calming music before the puppet pops out, the three song run towards the end does the same. Going from high power energetic songs in the beginning of the album to relatively slower songs and an eerie yet oddly calming interlude with music box reflection replicates that effect, with arson being the puppet that jumps out. 10/10 an amazing work of music… Expand

    Best korean hip-hop album of 2022. J-hope crafted a masterpiece and it's really a good listen. I enjoyed it so much to this day.

Of course they don't share everything but we get enough to follow along with their growth as humans. J-Hope has provided glimpses of his past, present and potential future with JITB.     Very thoughtful deep and introspective album full of different genres. He started his solo debut with single MORE which goes "my work makes me breath so I want MORE" and considering how raw unique and refreshing Jack In The Box was his solo career is definitely something to look for.

    Me encantan todos los aspectos de este álbum, desde conceptos, ritmo, melodía, letras y lo que significan, podría escuchar el álbum todos los días y jamás aburrirme.J-Hope es un artista muy bueno con una gran trayectoria, él siempre me engancha con sus trabajos y hace que no salgan de mi cabeza, denle una oportunidad con la mente abierta y se sorprenderán de lo increíble que es el álbum

    Whether the music on Jack in the Box suits your taste or not, it’s hard to dismiss this album as an artistic statement rather than just chapter 1/7 of BTS proving they can also make money in ways beyond official group releases.

    There’s an excellent three track run from “What if…,” an energetic song that samples Ol’ Dirty Bastard’s “Shimmy Shimmy Ya,” into mid-tempo standout “Safety Zone” before a touch of Hope World familiarity returns in the optimistic “Future.”
