Jun 1, 2026“Classic.Death.Pose” into “Adult Diamond” into “Human Props” is a stunning three-track run and an incredible way to end the album, each presenting its three main elements: heavy, genre-fluid and theatrical. However, they are not the end. We are met instead with an interlude and one more track. “Treading” has none of the qualities of a closer.

Jun 1, 2026This is a deliberately more intense, more complex record than ‘Rogue Carpet Disaster’, one that feels like Static Dress are trying to connect more deeply with whoever’s listening.

Jun 1, 2026This is music made not to be just heard but felt. It’s unvarnished, conceptual, bleeding emotion from every vein. Surely, this has to be a cult classic in waiting.

Jun 15, 2026A raw yet somehow pitch perfect example of post-hardcore’s potency, ‘Injury Episode’ proves Static Dress to be a band with not just grand ambition and ideas, but a passion for the genre that feels completely invigorating.

Jun 1, 2026There’s some pleasingly heavy stuff on here, too. “Malebomb” comes close to full blooded nu metal (a subgenre surely due a major revival in the near future) – but, like, really good nu metal. For all that the style is reviled, there’s no denying that downtuned, thumpy guitars and livewire all-angst vocals go together like baggy jeans and a backwards Yankees cap.
