The entire album's tremendous fun, uniquely brilliant and brilliantly unique. [Sep 2025, p.76]

It’s such a blessed relief that I Wonder When They’re Going to Destroy Your Face is not just extremely good, but that it is so in the way that Prolapse has always been great. Steelyard and Derrick are in classic form.

A pleasing anachronism landing on a very different planet. Even though the band had reformed for some dates a decade ago, it’s a return that feels as unexpected as a reappearance from the ghost of Amelia Earhart’s Lockheed Electra.

The overall sense here is of old friends reunited, not taking themselves too seriously, still making a thrillingly ramshackle racket. [Sep 2025, p.37]
