Jan 4, 2016Lazy, lazy, lazy. I feel like Lana Del Rey has an advantage over many artists: the fact that she has a wonderful voices which she seemingly refuses to use. I really love the baselines in many songs, the lyrics are enticing however (as usual) she doesn't give any outstanding vocal performances. I really think she can!

Feb 28, 2017Entertainment Weekly called it "stubbornly retro" in a positive light. Yes, it is stubbornly retro. ALL OF HER ALBUMS HAVE BEEN. I'm tired of the whole "bad girl born in the wrong generation" influence that she force feeds every album. Not even Dan Auerbach could make her interesting. This record is a reiteration of all of the points she's already made and I'm really getting bored of hearing it.

Jun 2, 2017Del Rey returns with the same transcendent voice however Honeymoon does not justify her previous two LPs in her repertoire. Honeymoon remains Lana Del Rey's weakest album to date.
-
Jun 27, 2017My problem is that I can't stand her voice, it's too sloppy and dark. As for the album, there are some decent songs like Terrence Loves You, Religion and Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood (which, by the way, it's a cover of the Nina Simone classic). Overrated, pretentious and artsy.

Jul 25, 2017Este no fue su disco, ni mucho menos mi favorito. Este álbum fue evidentemente repetitivo y no lo puntúo por menos por mi amor a su música en general.
-
Nov 17, 2017This album is the culmination of all her past works and sounds. It has elements from "Ultraviolence", "Born To Die", "Paradise" and "AKA". A solid effort, where the tracks flow nicely one into the other.

Nov 2, 2021Its been 6 years and this album has totally aged like wine! Not her most mainstream album but, musically, one of her most impressive! For sure, its not for the locals...

Sep 12, 2019Lana has really come into her own with this album. Fusing pop styles with blues and jazz gives way to a fully realized idea of a modern woman trapped behind archaic ideas of romance.

Mar 6, 2019Let me first start by saying that Lana is my favourite artist so, i was a little worried that this album will underwhelm me. I was very wrong, the album was great, it was coherent and every song worked on its own and as a part of the whole album. My favourites are Terrence Loves You, High By The Beach, Honeymoon, Salvatore and The Blackest Day. Well, actually every song is amazing.

Aug 27, 2018Again Del Rey creates a beautifully retro album, and though its pretty and soft, I feel a disconnect. This is probably the first album in Del Rey's career without a clear concept. The singles are the best tracks and deserve to be on repeat. Download: High by the Beach, Music to Watch Boys By, Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood.

Oct 17, 2015This album it is so perfect from the visual art to the lyrics and the beats of the songs. Lana is an absolutely incredible artist and her albums speak for themselves. Honeymoon is powerful and fragile at the same, with no doubts it's one of the best albums of the year.

Jan 11, 2016By combining all the styles of her previous work into one album, Honeymoon shows that Lana Del Rey has evolved from the melodramatic ballads of Born to Die to create her most focused and well-produced album to date. "High by the Beach" and "Freak" are Del Rey's catchiest songs yet while "Salvatore" and "Honeymoon" are more subdued tracks that contain a lot of emotion.
-
Jan 31, 2016Não chega a ser superior ao anterior em qualidade, no entanto é um dos trabalhos mais bacanas lançados no ano passado, e isso já conta como um voto a favor de Lana Del Rey.
-
Sep 25, 2015Such a strong album from a strong artist and is arguably her best album sonically speaking. If you like BTD or Paradise, then this is the album for you, with more baroque pop and trap than UV. Overall, my faves are High By the Beach, Salvatore, Freak and Terrence Loves You.

UncutOct 27, 2015It's her first record that could be a classic rather than just name-checking a bunch of them. [Dec 2015, p.70]
-
Q MagazineOct 27, 2015At 65-plus minutes' duration, Honeymoon's submarine/somnambulant vibe does rather overstay its welcome. [Dec 2015, p.115]

Oct 21, 2015No matter her self-presentation, her grip, the music is relentlessly Sad--and exhausting in its sadness.
