As usual, Ms. Del Rey didn't dissapoint and gave us a beautiful and haunting album, that sounds great. It's impossible to don't fall in love with her or her songs,
Music To Watch Boys To, Freak, Religion, Salvatore, The Blackest Day and 24 are the album highlights and certainly, my favorites, but don't be wrong: the whole album is great and won't disappoint Ms. Del Rey fans (i'm one of them). If you're not a fan of the job of his this lovely and adorable singer, I guess you could give a chance, as she says in Art Deco: ''a little party never hurt no one, that's why it's so right.''.
In my words: a little listening never hurt no one, that's why you should try.
As everyone, I can't wait to hear Lana's new album, which is set to be released in late 2016, probably in December.
Long live to the queen of alternative music!

I personally think Lana has some capability to create better art, although Honeymoon was not an album i was expecting. Very plain and pretty much copying modern pop. Pure basura

Grande Lana. Expand

absolutely flawless, the single choices, the videos, everything is very well executed. This album never gets old no matter how many times you listen to it. I'm always excited for new Lana music but I don't think she can top this, it's a masterpiece. This is a definite listen to. Honorable mentions: Terence loves you, music to watch boys to, the blackest day and swan song.

The album begins with a noir-ish David Lynch track 'Honeymoon'- An unforgettable 6 minutes.
The follow-up track 'Music to Watch Boys to' gives the album a more epic sound using the oboes, the woodwinds and the congas.

In 'God Knows I Tried' she sings about how fame ruins her and she wanna be free.
The three upcoming tracks she uses an electronic percussion - A.K.A "muddy trap energy" tracks. Those are fun and catchy songs.
She stops the album with an interlude after 'Art Deco' using T.S. Eliot's 'Burnt Norton'.
'Religion' gives the album 'Honeymoon' a different atmosphere, a darker one. The violins and the drums makes the track even more mysterious.
The upcoming track has a glorious melody.
Then we proceed to the most powerful dark ballad on the album called "The Blackest Day". Del Rey goes through some phases after her break-up/lost of her lover.
After 'The Blackest Day', we can hear some James Bond influenced track named '24'. Lana had fun doing this track, the epic horns makes the song sound even more better than it is already.
Then we proceed to 'Swan Song', a song about freedom- Del Rey sings "Why you work so hard when you could just be free?".
Del Rey closes 'Honeymoon' yet again with another Nina Simone cover (Just like with her previous album 'Ultraviolence') called 'Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood'. This track gives the appropriate ending this album deserves.

Honeymoon is the perfect sequel to her last album Ultraviolence. After all the darkness of Ultraviolence, Honeymoon is like the quiet after the storm. Peaceful, and calm, this album is just beautiful.

Lana has succeeded in creating another lush, melodramatic album that her fans know and love. If there's one only word to describe this album, it's "sublime"! A delicious mix between trap music and jazz, with her whispered voice filling my ears. An album made to sound simple, but still loud enough to make you feel all the textures, with a concept to what she stays true from the beggining to the very end of it. Simply amazing!

As always, Lana, once more, is touching our souls deeply. I don't think she is evoluting at each album, because since the first time I heard Born To Die I felt this woman's power. And that already was really strong, just like she did in Ultraviolence and is doing with Honeymoon.

She is a talented artist, a good writer (at least she writes and doesn't release the same stuff as on the radio). Can someone explain to me how she is a bad influence? Its sad to see the hate thrown at her as if she did anything directly to anyone. You have no life if all you do is shame her and others that adore her. I dislike artists like Jason Derulo and Pitbull but I will be damned if I stooped down to a pathetic level as of the ''haters'' and write hate messages, comments, and reviews. If you don't like her and her music please write content that give complimentary reasons as to why, good reasons to dislike, because how is she a bad influence? If it wasn't for Lana a lot of her fans wouldn't even have discovered a lot of influential artists and events from the past. Lana does have tendency to be receptive in terms of some vocabulary, that does not make her a bad artist at all, Bye at all the ignorant, selfish people out there. Lets not get started on the person hating and uses Lorde and Mariana against her LOOOOOL, basic (I love their music though). Why would someone just have the ugly personality to put down artists and their fans that adore her is B E Y O N D me. The only fans I hate is Arianators I will admit. Back to the album its a fantastically produced, sung, and written album. Songs like 'Terrence Loves You' basically is the reason she IS talented, don't play. This album may have like one or two weak songs. The album in general has a couple of flaws but Lana now knows her place in the industry and and how to work with it so a lot of this was kind of on purpose?? The album (like any album) should be judged on whether or not you like this style, if you don't like it, why would someone really embarrass themselves and ridicule an artists and beloved fans because they don't like the music, sad, really. I literally only seen more than two people give actual good reasons as why they dislike Lana or any artists in all honesty. Expand
