    As a Lovatic, I would write a lot of good things. Now, as a Music student... I would do the same! There are several great elements in HOLY FVCK; its musical texture is excellent because it goes to different rhythms, harmonization can be studied or just the melody, etc. I'm sure many will believe that all the songs are the same, but that's not the case: "4    **** **** DEMI, I LOVE YOU!

    As a Lovatic, I would write a lot of good things. Now, as a Music student... I would do the same! There are several great elements in HOLY FVCK; its musical texture is excellent because it goes to different rhythms, harmonization can be studied or just the melody, etc. I'm sure many will believe that all the songs are the same, but that's not the case: "4 EVER 4 ME" is a ballad, while "HOLY FVCK" is a sexual anthem; "SUBSTANCE" can go on my playlist for exercise, which wouldn't work well with "BONES" since it's disco-punk. And since it's an album that leads down several paths, but to the same destination, that is,Demi's honesty (a different honesty than DWTDTAOSO), it's difficult to choose my favorite songs, so I will only put the ones that make me dance . By the way, I already want to feel all the songs breaking my eardrums when I see them at Rock in Rio this year.

    Do meu ponto de vista pessoal vou dizer: é uma obra prima!
    An imersive experience that reminds the Lovatics how great is to have Demetria live and making music. It's like "29", "Wasted" and "Feed" were made to be single. I loved "Substance" as well.
    If we look to DWTDTAOSO we will see how desperate she is to tell her history.

There are some highlights on the album such as Freak, City of Angels, Wasted and Come Together. But there is a lot of filler such as Substance, Holy F, Eat Me and Bones. It's odd because at face value DWTD...TAOSO was aVery mixed feelings about this album, which is a shame because Skin of My Teeth and 29, I was a big fan. Substance I can't lie is a very cliché song and poorly written. There are some highlights on the album such as Freak, City of Angels, Wasted and Come Together. But there is a lot of filler such as Substance, Holy F, Eat Me and Bones. It's odd because at face value DWTD...TAOSO was a better album on first listen but has since aged poorly with newer information.     Pretty average. Not a bad album, it actually feels like Demi is being honest and vulnerable, but the lyrics are kinda weak and the whole aesthetic is way to heavy, whereas the songs are not that profound. Again, not bad, just not that good.

    This album takes her back to her roots. It's a body of work about who she is, no excuses. The album starts in a very angry way, it becomes about feeling empowered and then there are songs about love. So it's kinda an arc between feeling angry, empowered, and happy during Demi's life cycles so far.

O talento de Demi é de outro mundo e ela produziu um álbum de punk rock genuíno com o Holy Fvck. Como qualquer pessoa com conhecimento musical sabe, Demi tem uma das, se não a melhor voz do jogo e poder ir do pop ao rock não é algo que muitos artistas possam fazer.     If anything, Holy Fvck proves that maybe it was Lovato’s pop albums that were the fluff, and this is the substance they’ve been looking for.

    Holy Fvck has its flaws – Lovato’s powerful voice is unnecessarily finessed and Auto-Tuned, and 16 tracks is too long. But its gutsy ambition is a thing of substance in and of itself.
