    This is a solid album. The lyrics are emotive and I love the musical progression. Demi and the writers and producers made a cohesive work of art. The guitars, sound SICK on this; the tones, I love that we get a few solos.. I always hoped Demi would find their way back to rock music; that we’d get full “Rockvato” again. And lo! Here it is! Demi sounds best over loud guitars.
    On first    This is a solid album. The lyrics are emotive and I love the musical progression. Demi and the writers and producers made a cohesive work of art. The guitars, sound SICK on this; the tones, I love that we get a few solos.. I always hoped Demi would find their way back to rock music; that we’d get full “Rockvato” again. And lo! Here it is! Demi sounds best over loud guitars.
    On first listen, my favorites, are “Happy Ending” & “Feed” are tied for first place (both songs, for me, hit how music feels like it’s supposed to), “Holy Fvck” after (that song has such a groove & I love how the last chorus is sung!), & then round out with “29,” “Dead Friends,” & “Substance”.. I love the subject matter of those.
    Honest, the whole album is good to throw on & just listen, front-to-back, no real skips. Just push play & go on a 48-minute journey; it’s super fun.

    Literally the best album I’ve heard this year. Her vocals are honestly just getting better and better. Happy ending, 29 and wasted are my personal favorite, but I can honestly enjoy listening to all of them. Finally found an album with no skips!

    There are no words to describe how magnificent this album is. Demi sings about grooming, loosing friends, masturbating, media sucking (their) life, being an outcast, dessire and falling in love again, all in one piece of art. So powerfull and unforgetable that makes it their best.

    Demi Lovato once again managed to serve up an excellent album. Every song is so catchy. Yours vocals made me feel like in heaven, and the high notes are the highlight of this album.

    An absolute masterpiece ! Definitely her best album to date lyrically, sonically... Her voice is outstanding and she is one, if not the best vocalist of her generation. You can really hear that she has found her sound again

    Definitely Album of the Year. What an amazing trip is to travel to this album. It's just amazing, Demi's voice shines so incredibly on every song of this album. To add, is important to say that Lovato's acredited as LEAD WRITER of each song of this album.

    This new album is just a masterpiece. It's amazing how Demi did a 180 turn in genre but still delivering those vocals. One thing she said is that she wanted to create melodies for people to enjoy and what what she did, even if you don't know the lyrics you'll enjoy the song but of course the the lyrics and VOCALS are just as good. pretty strong record.     Amazing! In this album I can see Demi growing, learning, finding who they are, what they want. It’s a work made of passion, tears, fears, and mostly self confidence. I give a 10/10 because out of all the other albums out this year, this one really has that storyline and universe, and Demi owns it. The title track is such a masterpiece even in the name itself.     Their best album so far. All lyrics are amazing, it literally sounds like HEAVEN. Demi's so raw, honest and so POWERFUL. They said the album is about taking the power back and they did it perfectly.

    Demi's best album so far, for sure. The vocals are everything, the rock instrumentals makes it super powerful, but imo the lyrics are THE BEST part of the entire piece, there's so many relatable feelings.

Fantastic spectrum of influences and interpolation while really bringing the spotlight to her own style and her vocals are mental. You can tell she grew up in the 90s!

    What I appreciate the most about this album is it smashes way beyond the mold of the kidz bop sounding production Travis Barker has been dumping on the pop/“pop punk” industry the last two or so years. Demi’s record feels sincere, with more color and crunch than any other recent attempt at injecting rock into mainstream pop. The tracks that really did it for me were ‘Heaven’, ‘Eat Me’ and ‘Holy Fvck’. It really is an objectively good record and I hope the rock communities give it a shot. And I hope that Demi (or pop fans) fans feel more welcome to rock and metal genres! Would love another hard rock album from her in the future. She deserves the praise.    … Expand

    Best demi Lovato album so far. I wasnt really into pop rock but this album caught my attention there is not a bad song. Eat me, 29, happy ending and feed are my favorites but all of them are really really good. Demi made amazing job. Cant wait to see her on tour
