Album of the year. Lemonade who? It's Glory, **** People won't take Britney seriously as much as Beyonka but only because Britney is just being herself, a strong, sexy woman who just being fun and flirtatious. My fave tracks off the album are Make Me... (feat. G Eazy), Slumber Party,Love Me Down,Man On The Moon,Just Love Me and Do You Wanna Come Over. The whole standard album is just so good, you just cannot pick your favourite! There's zero filler on the album! Shockingly, the tracks on the deluxe are beyond amazing! Change Your Mind, Liar, If I'm Dancing, Coupure Electrique should definitely be on the standard version!

This is the best album of the year. You can see that album has been creating really long, not like Britney Jean and anyway this is new sound for Ms. Spears. Anyone would find minimum 2-3 song for himself.

What a great album! The best way to take away the bad taste of "Britney Jean" is present this great album . Britney is more present than ever in this modern production , the standard version should cover all 17 songs . Coupure Électrique is sublime.

Glory is finally here and it's the best thing from Britney in many years. The album is very different sound-wise, Britney vocals are in the right spot and were very well explored. The songs range from club-bangers to soft tracks, caressing the ears. Glory is a great piece of art.

Melhor álbum da Britney desde o In The Zone!
Inesperadamente, a sua voz está limpa, clara e perfeitamente sexy e nós podemos sentir a Britney "de antes" novamente entre nós, sentir a emoção dela no estúdio e não apenas alguém que realizou a gravação.

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This album is decidedly my favourite album from Britney out of all 9 albums. This spot used to be In The Zone, but Glory has overtaken it. I was totally taken aback and had chills all over my body when the opening track 'Invitation' started. Songs like 'Just Luv Me', 'Man On The Moon', 'Slumber Party' and 'Just Like Me' continued to give me that chilling sensation. I would call Glory her most romantic record up to date. Her voice is so emotive and special, on top of that slick ambient production. The use of guitar riffs in many of the songs are quite ear-candy. The whole album felt very cohesive and mature, with definitely
her best lyrics up to date. Furthermore, Britney challenged herself vocally on songs like 'Private Show' and 'What You Need' which really shocked me and brought such joy to my listening experience. This will be a highlight of her career! I realy have to mention 'Man On The Moon' as my favourite track because it brought tears to my eyes. There is something heartbreakingly sad about the song and just so romantic!

Definitely one of her best albums, fresh, different and unexpected. An album that should be listened by everyone, cause it sounds like nothing that Britney has done before. Britney goes far away from the electronic sound that characterizes her last 2 albums and goes with a more mid-tempo sound, without losing that "Britney touch" that's always present in what she does.

Invitation, the opening track, is one of those experimental tracks. A perfect opening song, it should have set the tone for the rest of the album, but as I listened to the rest of the album I felt some disappointment. While the tracks were very Britney, a few sounded outdated (Clumsy, What You Need), , while some others sounded too contemporary without reaching contemporary epicness (Just Luv Me, Make Me..., Love Me Down, Better), while others were just bland (Private Show, Hard To Forget Ya, Just Like Me, What You Need). However, the album is saved by those head-on experimental tracks I mentioned earlier: 'Invitation', 'Do You Wanna Come Over', 'Change Your Mind', 'If I'm Dancing', and 'Coupure Electrique'. These 5 tracks are the backbone of the entire album (especially considering they include both the first and last songs). As always, having more than 12-13 tracks on an album never does anyone any good, and it certainly didn't do 'Glory' any favors. This album would have done best with 8-10 songs. This is much better than the pathetic 'Britney Jean' but not as glorious as it could have been.

BEST: Coupure Electrique, If I'm Dancing, Invitation
    WORST: What You Need, Clumsy

This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. Her latest lackluster releases lowered everyone’s expectation for this album, but we should not forget the one thing Britney does better than anyone else in the industry: rising from her ashes in all her “Glory”.

Even though the general public reception is likely to be lukewarm, the album manages to truthfully portray Britney’s artistry and that is a very pleasant surprise. Years and years of unreleased songs and scrapped projects left such a bad taste in the mouth of the fandom that we grew ridiculously accustomed to a soulless robotic voice slapped on a perfectly-crafted catchy pop tune. Two of her most critically acclaimed works, such as In The Zone and Blackout, started to sound soaked in nostalgia for what could have been (if she hadn’t had that infamous breakdown). But no more sadness, just one listen to this record is enough to rinse our frustration and reassure us that Britney was indeed in charge of this project. A testament to that is her voice: sultry and playful, warm and grating, multifaceted and yet always recognizable. Her most devoted fans will also immediately detect her beloved guitar riffs, the gypsy jazz style, the talking bits in different languages, and the haunting mid-tempo melodies that many times filled our vivid imagination stemming from poor-quality demos.

The trend of urban slow-jams which is saturating the music market gives Britney the opportunity to indulge in the genre that has always suited her best. Some of the tracks (“Just Luv Me”, “Slumber Party”, “Better”, “Change Your Mind”) would fit perfectly in the Top40, evoking the atmosphere of Diplo’s and Drake’s most recent hits, but her unique flair and enunciation always manages to bring more to the table. Showcasing her astonishing versatility, the album spaces through different styles, from the hypnotic and vocally-syncopated “Invitation” that opens the record functioning as an intro to the trap-influenced “Love Me Down”, from the stripped down electro swing of “What You Need” to her signature beat drop in “Clumsy”. Glam-droid vocals pervade the refined ballad “Man On The Moon”, while “Hard To Forget Ya” and “Liar” quench our thirst of an early 2000s throwback. To complete the puzzle, “If I’m Dancing” with its jump rope rhyme beat is the odd-one-out song that defines every Britney’s standout album.

Our princess of pop mentioned several times in recent interviews that she wanted this album to be “very artsy-fartsy” and she managed to do just that without pandering to a particular social class by conveniently addressing a raging social issue (*clears throat* Beyoncé). In a world where it does not take much talent to get your song played on the radio station if you’re signed with the right label, Britney’s personality still shines when compared to the deadpan set of mannequins selling out arenas these days. In the years following her breakdown, she experienced an artistic blackout, pledging helplessly to the flow of the charts; now she seems to be taking a step in the right direction finally breaking free from her “Coupure Électrique”. Here’s to a Glory-ous return to form.

Britney's best album since In The Zone and Blackout. We can see a resurrection of old Britney who tries new vibes and sounds. She took risks and gave us a MASTERPIECE!

The best album of the Princess of Pop. A mature, modern and different album to what Britney Spears had become accustomed. Definitely your best work to date.

This album is everything you would want from a Britney album. Every song could be a stand-alone single! My highlights are Private Show, Man On The Moon, Slumber Party and Change Your Mind.

An incredible, cohesive and mature album from our beloved princess of pop. On 'Glory', Britney demonstrated her capacity to produce excellent pop records and cements her status a true legend. Glory is a perfect addition to the Britney canon.

She know what she's doing. And if you want more, it's a good deal check it all deluxe's tracks Liar, an explosive bang bang with a furious lyric and If I'm Dancing, another bang track that could bring you to Brazil instantly. It's a fun path to go and Britney takes us all marvelously. Expand

Britney Spears just released what could be the best album of 2016.
Her last effort Britney Jean didn't convince anyone but Glory is shaping up to be her best album since at least 2007. She is not trying to appeal to anyone but the diversity is impressive. Every song is unique and memorable. The production is really good, the lyrics are beautiful in songs like Invitation, Man On The Moon

Some songs are really catchy like Love Me Down, Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes), Slumber Party. Miss Spears' vocals are impressive and better than ever, she has trained hard to deliver a quality album. The other pop singers like Lady Gaga, Beyoncé or Ariana Grande will definitely take some inspiration from Britney's new album, Glory. Oops...! She did it again.

Perfeito, um dos melhores álbuns de 2016, se não o melhor do gênero pop.
Realmente Britney soube se sobressair do seu Britney Jean que não foi muito bem aceito.
    Mas realmente de superou.

It's sweet, sophisticated and definitely the most Britney-ish album since Circus era! This is HER, and I thank god she change her music direction from Britney Jean! Each song is extremely nice, well-written and deserves to be a hit!! Hell yeah Britney's back!!

This may quite well be Britney's best offering since perhaps 2003's "In The Zone". Her unique vocal style, nostalgic of the "Oops!" and "I'm A Slave 4 U" days, is clearly front-and-center throughout the album. Spears even dabs with foreign languages, "Coupure Électrique" being completely in French and "Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortés)" with a Spanish line here and there. The material makes sure to leave you with great lyrics ("Man On The Moon"), catchy melodies ("Liar"), crisp modern beats ("Do You Wanna Come Over?") and Spears' mystique. As far as pop music goes, this is the best it gets.

Standout tracks: Man On The Moon, Just Luv Me, Slumber Party, Love Me Down, Liar, Coupure Électrique.

Britney once proved again that she can still deliver if she took control. The album is one of her best so far. The diversity of song genres and elements make the album fresh and outstanding. This is the best POP album of the year! Say hello to the mature Britney in music and personality.

They always say "Britney's back" well...she's actually back. Glory is an amazing return to the top of pop that Britney has almost always dominated. Her voice shines through on this record more than it has in years, and she seems to be having more fun than ever through the 17 songs. One of the best pop albums, if not the best pop album, of the year!

Although it marks no significant shift in style--she’s still mining the same pop-R&B seam--it’s undoubtedly a better effort than its predecessor.

Like Britney herself, Glory is a fascinating if flawed listen--while she remains very much a singles artist, this is her most successful record in a while, and still contains glimpses of why she remains so compelling, 18 years into her career.
  3. Glory is no masterpiece, but it’s a marked improvement on 2013’s ‘Britney Jean’, a messy attempt to merge thumping EDM tunes with supposedly reflective midtempo songs.
