Pure masterpiece! its full of amazing single potential songs and Britney's voice is the least edited in a decade, it's been a while since we've heard a soft side of her :)

P.S. people who are rating her 0, we all know you are just other pop stars' fans, if you can't have or form a personal opinion, or listen to the album in the first place, spare us your lame reviews.

One word to describe this album is euphoric. This is Britney at her best. The style and vibe of this album are different from her previous work, but they are just as good as the music she made at her peak.

The album is overall worse than previous Britney albums. Most songs do not really meet the expectations and lack replay value, becoming quickly boring or annoying. Biggest problem of the album is that Britney abuses her "chipmunk voice" that songs like Radar/If you seek amy are known for, works great for those two songs btw, but not every song will do right with that voice. Songs like Slumber Party, Private Show, Better... become annoying after hearing them a couple times because of that voice. Some others like "What you need" are even worse and the production is too presumptuous for itself. "Change your mind" is innovative, but doesn't really work and the song resorts to secondary voices to sing most of the spanish part, which is kind of upsetting. Other like "If I'm dancing" actually try to be good but fail because of a nonsensical over the top editing.

Of course among 17 songs, not everything is bad, "Do you wanna come over" will surely be remembered as another Britney hit, and "Make Me", "Man on the Moon" and "Liar" are pretty good songs.

One of the worst albums of the year thus far. It shows absolutely no artistic growth, the lyrics are elementary, and the vocals are non-existent. All in all, a terrible album.

Invitation - it is invitation to her Glory. It is very smooth and Britney's vocals are as an angel's.
Private Show - a funky song, something new in Brtney's repertoire. Man on the Moon and Liar - as her old and good songs from the first two albums. Slumber Party - reggae rhythms calling us to dance on the beach. Just Luv Me and Make Me - rnb songs a la Selena Gomez ;) Do you wanna come over? - uptempo and dark pop/dance track with characteristic chorus. Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes) - Britney in latino version or Copoure Electrique - in French one.
In general, this album is coherent and well prepared without any need of autotune like in Britney Jean album. Maybe, these songs are not catchy as in Femme Fatale or Circus albums, but we can hear mature Britney.

To be frank, this album is for 10/10

Britney is back FOR SURE! Everyone was like "Britney is back on circus" "britney is back on femme fatale" "britney is back on britney jean" but none of those albums was as great and fresh as Glory. It gives us a total new idea of Mrs. Spears' sounds, in a total experimental album full of tracks that make you go on an endless trip. Each track was amazingly produced, but as every album, itBritney is back FOR SURE! Each track was amazingly produced, but as every album, it has its ups and downs. The highest points of this album are the vocals in every track, Britney gave the songs a new life with her vocals, some of them were really impressive and never-seen-before, like the hymn What You Need. She doesn't stop there, she is also singing in spanish in Change Your Mind (No Seas Cortes) and FRENCH in Coupure Électrique. The negative sides of this album is that some tracks get boring after the first chorus, they sound like looping the verses, Just Luv Me is one of those songs. The lyrics are great, Britney did really well with it, but the instrumental makes the song very predictable after the first 30 seconds of it. Anyway, Spears' new album is amazing and have all the types of beat, from jazz-inspired songs (Private Show) to acoustic ballads that could still be played at night clubs (Just Like Me, Liar, Man On The Moon), it also includes reggae-inspired songs (Love Me Down, Slumber Party) and brazilian funk like If I'm Dancing. It's definetely worth it, you can't listen to this album without enjoying ANY songs, you'll fall in love to at least one of them. Congratulation Mrs. Spears for this masterpiece, that we hope it's just the first of many experimental projects you still may have ahead! Expand

Britney is back with good music, lyrics and with an unapologetic persona. Glory shows us a mature woman who is still relevant even after almost 20 years of career. She's an icon, a living legend and her new album proves it. The best thing about "Glory" is that we haven't seen this side of Britney since "In The Zone" or "Blackout" - she's back with blood on her eyes!

Glory makes for an enjoyable listen, and it definitely a huge step-up from 2013's Britney Jean. Her vocals are less processed and they shine in different places (see "Private Show"). The reason I gave it a 7 is some tracks are very forgettable, like the last 3 tracks on the standard edition, but songs like "Private Show". "Man on the Moon", and "Make Me..." really make up for it. Returning with this bob, filled with great songs, such as "Love Me Down", "Make Me" and the haunting "Coupure Electrique", she's clearly here to rule. Sounding more involved and happy than ever, she seems to have been responsible for every single phase of this album's creation. She blends R & B with pop and sometimes EDM and it's beyond any doubt that she does it really really well. Also, it's probably her only album to not include any filler-songs. Almost everything here could be huge. From the retro heaven "Slumber Party" to the aggressively fantastic "Liar". Furthermore , her voice is incredibly genuine here and almost not processed at all. She's done huge progress and it's only fitting that we applaud her for that. The only issue is that the bonus tracks are so good that it seems sad they aren't part of the standard edition. It's club-friendly, it's modern, it's everything fans could have expected and more. It's like a lovechild to "Blackout" and "In The Zone", her other two best albums. Probably the best pop album of 2016 so far, it's so addictive. A must of this year! She really defied my expectations. Expand

Este definitivamente é o melhor álbum da Britney Spears desde "In The Zone".
No replay estão: Invitation, Make me, Slumber party, What you need, Change your mind, If'm dancing, Just like me, Man on the moon e Just love me.
Recomendo esse álbum à aqueles que procuram ouvir algo, divertido, despretensioso, experimental, sexy, dançante e acima de tudo a aqueles que querem ouvir o melhor de Britney Spears.

Over the past 18 years, she’s been through so many obstacles that many of us may never have to face. After the fan favorite (and one of my personal favorites) Blackout, Britney released Circus, Femme Fatale, and Britney Jean. While Circus and Femme Fatale had strong singles, some lacked a certain “spark” that Britney fans loved about the singer. Britney Jean was a bit worrisome, because not only was the music subpar and dated (aside from Work B**ch which was a personal favorite off that album), but Britney herself didn’t really seem attached to the project in general. It is also a bit of a gray area as to how much Britney actually sang in that album, but I won’t get into that here. Two years after the underwhelming release of Britney Jean, “Pretty Girls” made its way onto the airwaves and unfortunately, it suffered the same issue that Britney Jean had. The sound was outdated, the song itself was a bit annoying and Iggy Azalea had just started receiving backlash from the public for her controversial comments regarding race. Fast forward to today, where we have the best album that Miss Spears has put out in years, and could possibly be her best album yet. Glory takes elements from all of her past albums (sans Brenda Joan), explores new areas, and remains entirely cohesive. The album opens with “Invitation”, a beautiful and angelic ballad that showcases Britney’s beautiful falsetto, and goes into “Make Me” (“Do You Wanna Come Over?” on the CD version). “Make Me” is one of Britney’s strongest leads in years. It’s not the only lead-single worthy track on the album, but we’ll get into that later. “Private Show” remains fun and catchy, but it’s definitely not the best off the album. “Man On The Moon” does exactly what “Alien” tried to do, but this time, it succeeds. Britney’s sweet vocals glide over this happy-go-lucky track, but what makes this song so interesting is that the lyrics are actually quite depressing. Remind anyone else of another Brit song released back in the day? Plus, the instrumental is absolutely gorgeous, especially during the bridge. Next up is my personal favorite off the album, and it seems to be a fan favorite too! “Just Luv Me” is a career moment for Britney. It is reminiscent of the 2016 sound created by Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, but it is so much more. This song absolutely could have been the lead single as well, I’d think of this as the “Toxic” of Glory. The simplistic yet incredibly beautiful instrumental compliments Britney’s sexy vocals as she requests to only be “loved”. It’s one of her best songs in years, dare I say it could potentially be her most iconic single since “Gimme More”? “Clumsy” and “Do You Wanna Come Over?” were both released as instant grats, and they both welcome the return of the beloved Blackout sound, especially the latter. Britney dives into new territories with the midtempo jam “Slumber Party”, which could totally be a future single. It’s fun, sexy and Brit even drops the F-bomb during the chorus. “Just Like Me” (not to be confused with Just Luv Me) is a guitar driven song with an electro-pop chorus. Britney’s vocals sound fantastic, and while this song took a few listens for it to grow on me, it’s now one of my favorites. “Love Me Down” is one of my favorites off the album. While originally rumored to be a ballad, it’s completely the opposite. It’s a fun, dance-floor jam that would have an amazing music video if it were released. “Hard To Forget Ya” is another boppy song that also has single potential (notice how many songs have single potential). “What You Need” is a fun album closer that falls within the same realm as “Private Show”, you’re either gonna love it or hate it. Personally I love it! Now, the bonus tracks. The bonus tracks are all amazing. Seriously, all of them are incredible and could have been standard tracks. “Better” is Britney’s “Lean On” and I am HERE FOR IT. “Change Your Mind” is one of my favorite songs as well, and it features Brit singing in Spanish! (Watch out, Christina). “Liar” is another career moment for Britney. I don’t know how this isn’t on the standard version. It’s Britney going back to her pure pop roots and I LOVE IT. “Cry, Cry Cry you ain’t fooling anyone” she chants as we all pretend this song is about JT. “If I’m Dancing” is the most uptempo track on the album and it’s SO good. It’s like 2016’s “Brave New Girl” and I am so in love with it. The deluxe album closes on a very surprising note with Britney singing (beautifully) in French paying homage to 2007’s “Blackout”. Overall, this album has proven to be her strongest effort so far, and I recommend that everyone give it a chance. The queen is back! Expand

Britney Spears show with this new album the perfection of Pop, shows the actual sound of pop music with her characteristic "touch", good lyrics, vocals and amazing production. After the deception with her 8th studio album, Britney Jean, with Glory, she does what her fans and general public expected about her, a legendary masterpiece. The entire album is recommended.

The only change I would make - is a track list. I can see that Britney's team wanted to show a different side of the singer, but "Private Show" doesn't deserve that attention, that was tried to be created. The song sounds like just an introduction to something much stronger and powerful and definitely could be easily replaced in main track list with an interesting "Change Your Mind". Same can say about "Hard To Forget You" - the song really doesn't go anywhere and could be replaced by fun and dancy "If I'm Dancing".
But in general Britney did an awesome job!

Glory is definitely the musical reinvention of Britney, clean vocals and music, which differs from their work in 2008, 2011 and 2013. Britney's having a taste for dance and music, Glory means much more than sales, reviews and top of the charts, meaning around awaited since 2007

To be honest, I was expecting a bit more. While the instrumentals are good overall (since In The Zone or Blackout, Britney didn't manage to bring instrumentals as good as the ones on this album), her vocals are so overproduced that almost made me stop listening to the album at some points.

The Princess of Pop delivers a better work than her last effort Britney Jean, yet, Glory feels empty and it's far for being one of her best since Circus or Femme Fatale. Lyrically it's good, her vocals feels so overproduced it loses the essence, yet the effort is good.

Like Britney herself, Glory is a fascinating if flawed listen--while she remains very much a singles artist, this is her most successful record in a while, and still contains glimpses of why she remains so compelling, 18 years into her career.
  3. Glory is no masterpiece, but it’s a marked improvement on 2013’s ‘Britney Jean’, a messy attempt to merge thumping EDM tunes with supposedly reflective midtempo songs.
