Garbers Days Revisited transcends novelty status here, reconnecting not only to Inter Arma’s past but to our present.

The key is to receive the album in the spirit in which it was intended: as an escapist distraction during troubling times. Your enjoyment of Garbers Days Revisited will depend, to a significant degree, upon how seriously you take it.

The selections step sufficiently far from the territory established by their own songs to generate intrigue without stretching credulity. [Jul 2020, p.64]

While covers records are common, the taste, energy, and imagination Inter Arma apply to Garbers Days Revisited is anything but. As a whole, it stands head and shoulders with any recording in their catalog.

This is a fun album. It's all thrash metal covers of various genres of popular songs, whether they're heavy metal or folk rock. It's exactly what you'd expect and doesn't disappoint. The production quality is excellent and the covers are great for what they are. I have no complaints but I also have nothing that stands out in my mind.

ALBUM ARTWORK: The cover is absolutely beautiful. The colors and texture give off a fiery, evanescent look into the intensity of the thrash music, yet also the fading memory of the classic songs they cover. The wide lens perspective is visually fascinating and the attention to detail whether in the black van, sports car, or black smoke is pristine. It's like a shot from a movie.
