    Future Nostalgia é exatamente o que o título propõe, uma retomada do que foi o pop na era disco, ao mesmo tempo em que é vestido em uma roupagem do que se comercializa atualmente. A produção desse álbum é muito sofisticada e detalhista, você se embala na instrumentação, nos arranjos, na voz, e nas letras.

    Future Nostalgia es cultural reset! El álbum es increíble, no tiene ni una sola mala canción! Es uno de los mejores álbumes del 2020; que seguro es nominado a los Grammys, y probablemente también sea ganador. Dua Lipa se superó, demostró lo talentosa que es y puede llegar a ser!!!

    Incredible Pop-Disco fusion album inspired by sounds of the 1980s and 1990s. 11 tracks long, with no filler. The strongest tracks include Physical, Don’t Start Now, and Hallucinate. Their are only 2 skips on this album in my opinion: Cool and Boys Will Be Boys.

    Future Nostalgia is a role model of pop music in 2020. - going back to 80s to dance/disco pop.
    Bringing back that retro vibe is the main thing this album had to do, and it did it flawlessly.     So this album does everything so good, but why than 8!?     Fun, smart and cohesive. Dua really had a vision for this dance album and it really worked. So glad Carly Rae Jepsen paved the way for albums like this. My favorite songs are: Physical, Cool, Hallucinate, and Pretty Please. It would be a 9, but Boys Will Be Boys is TERRIBLE.

    The challenge of making the second album as exciting as the first. Dua was right to see the trend of pop music and bring us the 80s and 90s to the fore, with a dance, fun and refreshing album. Dua Lipa shows that she wants to be a legend and she is going the right way with Future Nostalgia.

    Arguably, the best pop album of 2020. Many artist have been trying to bring the late 80´s, 90´s vibe back to the music game, but none could do it like Dua did in Future Nostalgia. One of the most impressing things about this album is the cohesion, from the begginning till the end. Perfect work, Dua.

    Dua lipa queen and this album deserves AOTY ALBUM OF THE YEAH period.
    Dua Lipa definitely was the most artist of the century last and this year. Her song levitating sadly get again numer 2 in the hot 100, the same thing of Don't Start Now. But the song levitating is so stable and get radios tho. her era Future Nostalgia was so perfect.

    A nice album. I just know in 4-5 years she's gonna be one of the most influential singers of our society. Though the album was good overall, it had it's murky moments too. The lyrics weren't too good and sometimes even lazy but I hope she makes even a better record than this one.

    Album of the year, this is the best pop album in years since 1989 by Taylor Swift. I love all tracks.
    Favorites: Don’t Start Now, Physical, Cool, Levitating, Love Again and Break My Heart.
    Also the lyrics of ‘Boys will be boys’ are so powerful.

    This review contains spoilers, click expand to view. This was just a great pop album. I liked Dua but i did not think her debut was good, apart from a few catchy singles. This album is much more cohesive and consistent and it borrows from the same era of dance pop and synth pop. The songs are well written and the choruses and hooks are just so good. Most of the songs are about love in various forms or situations. The opener , Future Nostalgia is a nice pop song about a female alpha, a feminist banger it is. Don't Start Now is my favorite song by Dua ,a disco jam which is also really empowering.I think the bridge on this one is so good, just makes me wanna dance. Cool has a really nice bass and some R&B feeling to it as well. The chorus is larger then life. Physical, another highlight for me has an anthemic chorus and some very great production, i love the spoken lines as well. Levitating is another highlight with a giant chorus and post chorus and the bridge is so memorable. Pretty Please is also a very slick song with some nice guitars, in which she begs for attention from a new lover. Hallucinate is a disco song in which she describes how a lover is making her go crazy with love. Love Again also deals with the feeling of being in love again after a horrible heartbreak. It sounds very classical and has some violins i think. I love it ! Break My Heart also talks about the same subject matter of a new love, feeling vulnerable at the beginning of a new relationships. While i like the production and overall subject matter of Good in Bed, i don't care much for the repetitive chorus. Its a song about a couple that uses sex to fix the problems in their relationship instead of facing those problems head on. Its unique in being the only song about this issue on the album. I do like the shift in subject matter at the end with this song and also the last song, Boys will be boys. I love the moody nature of the song and balladry, the chanting chorus and the drums at the end. It deals with themes of sexism, double standards and toxic masculinity . These are very heavy themes in comparison with the rest of the album it is such a befitting ending to a great album.… Expand

    Future Nostalgia llega a desmentir el mito de que las segundas partes no son tan buenas como las primeras, de hecho logra superar por mucho a su predecesor trabajo "Dua Lipa" al grado de que podría considerarse como un proyecto demasiado ostentoso y pretensioso. Sin embargo, la británica opta por desafiar sus propios límites y explotar al máximo su creatividad como artista para mostrarnos una nueva faceta de ella, la de popstar.

    Jumping into this album, I had pretty high expectations, I mean— it’s Dua Lipa, she could slap the most mediocre pop beats on a song and still make it so enticingly addicting. ‘Future Nostalgia’, the sophomore album of Lipa’s career, shows more than just artistic growth, it shows growth in the Pop Music genre as a whole. Not a lot of artists can master the ‘nostalgic 80s’ sound; TaylorJumping into this album, I had pretty high expectations, I mean— it’s Dua Lipa, she could slap the most mediocre pop beats on a song and still make it so enticingly addicting. ‘Future Nostalgia’, the sophomore album of Lipa’s career, shows more than just artistic growth, it shows growth in the Pop Music genre as a whole. Not a lot of artists can master the ‘nostalgic 80s’ sound; Taylor Swift failed to do so with her 2014 LP “1989”, using synth to self-proclaim her album as “80s inspired”. ‘Future Nostalgia’ is so perfectly crafted and loquaciously detailed that you forget that it’s just a pop album. This album is disgustingly good, and in the best way possible. Even the weakest tracks, ‘Good In Bed’ & ‘Boys Will Be Boys’ both still have the quintessential throwback sound that’s not too cheesy and not too serious. This album could very well be ‘pop perfection’. The highlights of this album are ‘Don’t Start Now’, ‘Love Again’, ‘Levitating’, ‘Break My Heart’, and ‘Hallucinate’, which are all powerhouse ethereal disco/dance & funk records that showcases how grossly intelligent Dua Lipa & her producers really are, pulling some deep samples onto ‘Love Again’, making it almost too unnoticeable, yet doesn’t try to hide it. I could say this is the best pop album of all time, but that would be giving Ms. Lipa too much credit (although she very well damn deserves it) — this album probably just saved pop music as a whole, and definitely revived what is (in my opinion) — ‘The Disco Renaissance of the 2020s. If I could rate this any higher than a 10, I would do it in an instant — I mean, how can you not get up and just move some joints to this perfectly crafted record. Dua Lipa has completely solidified herself as this decade’s new pop force— and not a Katy Perry pop force, a pop force the general public has not seen since the likes of Donna Summers, Madonna, and Kylie Minogue.     No cualquier artista logra hacer magia con influencias de música de los 80s en la actualidad, Future Nostalgia es un álbum fresco, de muy buena producción y de unos ritmos muy pegadizo, sin duda es uno de los mejores álbumes lanzados en el 2020

    One of the best Pop album I've listened to, every track on this album is a hit. Dua Lipa definitely is a queen of Pop! Her vocal range, catchy tune and dedication to her craft put magic to her work. This is her best album by far, I was addicted to "Don't Start Now" followed by "Physical" and now got hooked to the song "Levitating". This album will never get old!

    Lipa combines retro and futuristic, and the result is a masterpiece with a distinctive yet careful sound that doesn't stick like a sore thumb in the current musical climate. Sound is polished, never overproduced, and every song is a complete jam. It's a phenomenal pop record, not much else to say.

    No doubt the best album released in 2020. Future Nostalgia isn't just an album, it's a whole universe built with such great aesthetic and amazing, incredible and cohesive songs. Congratulations to Dua for blessing us with this masterpiece (and, maybe, one of my favorite albums of all time). Glad to be alive to listen to it.

    Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
