    MUCH BETTER than other pop releases from this year (and 2019 lol). Every song is cohesive with different messages. She got disco, funk, house and baroque pop inspirations of course from the some of the greatest American and British artists such as Moloko, Bowie or Kylie Minogue; just want we needed for the COVID-19 season.

    The nu-disco songs like "Levitating" and "Love Again" remind me    MUCH BETTER than other pop releases from this year (and 2019 lol). Every song is cohesive with different messages. She got disco, funk, house and baroque pop inspirations of course from the some of the greatest American and British artists such as Moloko, Bowie or Kylie Minogue; just want we needed for the COVID-19 season.

    The nu-disco songs like "Levitating" and "Love Again" remind me of Blondie or Donna Summer meeting "High Horse by Kacey Musgraves." Physical "is still the only song that is not of my attention although I understand clearly his presence in this exquisite work of true pop. "Hallucinate" has the house vibe of the Chemical Brothers. And what about "Don't Start Now"? A hymn to independence.Thank YOU, Dua Lipa.

    Every song on the album is single worthy!!! no song feels out of place. Truly A flawless album. And what a powerful way to close an album with a strong message. Best album for me this year. the 80s are back!!!!

All songs are unique, I just felt like a princess with Love Again, felt on the Moon with Hallucinate and confident with Boys Will Be Boys. She always does the greatest jobs.     The best blend of nostalgic throwback beats with futuristic pop sound. The perfect collection and conceptual album. It's impossible to pick favorites as there are so many amazing pop songs - Physical and Love Again take me to a place that makes me feel so elated to be able to listen to these songs. Best quarantine track. Sensational. One to beat.

    This album exceeded my expectations. Every song brings its own spunky and unique energy to the table and they all manage to be extremely cohesive with one another. This has not only cemented itself as my favorite album of this year already, but my favorite album ever.

    El concepto se siente desde el primer track, la manera en que reinventó el disco en el 2020 fue muy arriesgado pero entregado de una manera excelente y cohesivo, canciones alegres, con un mensaje relatable y algunos statements bien claros, la producción excelente, Dua Lipa volvió a entregar un Album de estudio al nivel de los grandes de la industria.     Such a fresh and new pop. It takes some samples and sound from the 70s and 80s in such an espectacular way bringing those sounds to the future. Such a pop masterpiece, a vanguard movement in such times like this.

    My heart started to beat faster when i heard "Brake My Heart" the first time. I love the 80 's touch and the diversity of all tracks. I like most in the album when Dua 's voice scratches a little bit, for example in "Cool". In my opinion this album is insane and a full success.

    “Future Nostalgia” ALBUM OF THE YEAR. Dua lipa presents a musical side that she has never shown, she has known how to mix modern pop with the old one, and it has undoubtedly been a fantasy. Talking about the lyrics, they are surprisingly good.

    Future Nostalgia surely will influence this new decade‘s pop. Not a single track to skip, each one is well placed throughout the album and the atmosphere just takes you back to the end of the 70s and the beginning of the 80s. Surely one of the best works of the last years.

    Where do I start with this album? It’s like riding a rollercoaster that never ends. Presumptuously starting with the title track, “Future Nostalgia” gives an electric feel backed with women empowering lyrics to directly address the patriarchal society of 2020. “Don’t Start Now” (the lead single of the new record), describes a heartbreak which Lipa is not taking to heart, dancing throughWhere do I start with this album? It’s like riding a rollercoaster that never ends. Presumptuously starting with the title track, “Future Nostalgia” gives an electric feel backed with women empowering lyrics to directly address the patriarchal society of 2020. “Don’t Start Now” (the lead single of the new record), describes a heartbreak which Lipa is not taking to heart, dancing through the storm. “Cool” is a fun little interlude which now shows Dua falling for someone else (we guess this is Anwar Hadid). It’s the coolest way to split up the two lead singles in the album. This song is also a double meaning, it seems as though it’s a song to let listeners cool down but in fact it’s literally the opposite. You cannot help but dance. “Physical” (the second lead single from the album) is called by Lipa as a “fun disco dance class” which is how everyone acts when they hear it. Fun and electric dancing with help from the 80s track vibe. “Levitating”, “Pretty Please”, “Hallucinate” and “Love Again” all have similar dancy vibes to them, with Hallucinate being the most viciously attacking on your joints because of its beat and rhythm. Pretty Please is more of a cool down song but still has the same vibes, calling her man pretty and begging for his love again, literally leading on to Love Again, which strings background makes the start sound like a ballad and a slower song, until the beat drops and she starts singing “I never thought that I would find a way out...But god damn you got me in love again”. Suggestingly aimed at her new lover, Hadid, the songs guitar and strings chorus hooks the listener to want more and more from this album. Moving on, “Break My Heart” (the newest 3rd single from the album) shows Lipa fully submerged in the love from her partner, even if it means he will break her heart in the future. She doesn’t think about the future in this song, only the present and the feelings she receives from him. “Good In Bed” swiftly follows on with these feelings and heightens them to next levels. It’s like going from dates (BMH) to literal sex (GIB). Good In Bed shows Dua’s maturity while also experimenting with new sound and lyrics. She has never done a song quite like this before, especially when she says “Yeah we don’t know how to talk, but damn we know how to f*ck”. Finally the outro song “Boys Will Be Boys” links back to the title track of Future Nostalgia, showing how masculinity has stretched to the fullest and now is scaring women (literally with them “putting keys between their knuckles when there’s boys around”). “I should’ve stuck to ballet” shows how Lipa is scared to be in the music industry which is based all around men in the patriarchal society we live in today (we which cannot accept is true). All in all, the sophomore album brings peace, dance and electricity all into one record. Congrats Dua!… Expand

    Álbum mostra pouca coerência entre as faixas presentes, contento pouca coesão em quesito a melodia dos mesmos. Porém com boa produção em todas as músicas do álbum, o que não o deixa coerente.

    Hard work and pure talent shows!!
    She surpassed any expectations, and let me tell you, they werent low at all! all of her singles are amazing choices, her promotion is great, all of her artwork and designs for this era create this pop perfection peace of art that we couldn't be more proud of.

    Make no mistake, her risks are still very within the context of a 4/4 pop structure, but she still finds such color and joy in her surroundings it's hard not to get swept up in her energy. Such risk-staking, however, can still lead to a few moments that could've used a bit more polish.
