Even though Finn has earned his place in contemporary Beatlesque pop, FOMO feels regressive, almost like the work of a rookie. And it's not as if this rookie has struck out, it just sounds like he ticked off ten foul balls in a row.

Finn seems more at home with the melancholy Paul Simon-isms of "Little Words" than with "The Struggle," a strained attempt to get weird and wired. [Aug 2011, p.84]

FOMO is seldom revelatory, but its concise pop never wears out its welcome.

Filled as usual with his hooks and heavy layering, driven by his guitar and percussion, songs like Cold Feet may appear to a radio friendly auidence, while tunes like The Struggle should please fans of his previous stuff. A good album for when you're in a happy, jumpy mood or feeling crappy and want a little pick me up. Full Review »
