    On folklore album she's showcased her songwriting skill beautifully writing from different perspectives. Relating other's stories to herself, referencing her own life, creating a love triangle, writing about her ups and downs. The songs on this album might not be catchy but certainly growers. A perfect album in a perfect time

    Even though it’s a little difficult to take in all the information at once, after connecting the dots and catching all the references it makes perfect sense. Lyrically it’s her best album, not only vocabulary-wise but also as a storyline. Sonically it was something new for her and I’m glad that she experimented with her new sound.     I never considered Taylor Swift a serious artist, but boy was I wrong, when I heard this album I was shocked with how good songwriter she is, and the production in the album is flawless. It will have long longevity. It had just a weak link.

    Not my thing at all. Plus tswift has lots of super dedicated fans that post/tweet/hashtag before they even listen to a complete song to boost her ratings and keep her a top artist. She's a good singer/songwriter i just don't think she's top chart worthy. Not my style of music so obviously some bias here.

    Great album, no cheesy love stories just Taylor telling a folks. She proves that she doesnt need new loves as material to write breakup songs she is just a great story teller

    I just want to say that Taylor is such a genius and thank you for always staying strong and makes good music. And I want to thank my parents because they gave birth to me so I can grow up listening to Taylor’s music. Love you Tay.

    I'd put folklore in a museum if i could. This album is a masterpiece and surely my most favourite Taylor Swift album. It's the proof that Taylor has matured so much. And despite being a surprise release with almost no promotion it managed to top billboard charts, and broke several records

    I can easily say that “folklore” is one of her best works in her all career. The lyrics show us a mature Taylor, we can see her skills as writer with every song. This is the first album of Taylor that I can listen all day on repeat without skipping any song. Definitely the album of the year.

    These 16 tracks (17 on the deluxe version) play out quite pleasurably in their entirety, the joins between Swift, Dessner and Antonoff ultimately only of niche interest. But Swift’s powerful songs reach their climaxes with bittersweet orchestrations, rather than blows to the solar plexus or a ringing in the ears. Everything hovers; little truly lands.
